2- long distance or long held drifts.

Anyone have any tips, i apriciate all ur help

Moderators have said to cease making new threads. Haven't they?

holdon.. im soo confused, super supra, wat did u mean by stop making new threads, noone told me... w/e...wat doesnt make sense

if you're sliding too far...brake more before the drift, you're going too fast.

its not that, onceim sideways, i cant get un sideways, speeds fine, its justthat

you mean you don't have any forward momentum? I'm still not clear on what you mean "Stuck Sideways". The only thing I can think of is that the lines you're taking are wrong or that you're going too fast.

lik my nose is pointed to the inside. once i hit that position, i either spin or stop

give more and more gas slowly, that'll give u more forward momentum

it seems ur concentrating too much on drifting the car then on trying to drive with it. I suggest racing in arcade mode on the normal or hard difficulty. This will force you to balance your slide with your speed so u can keep up with the other cars while drifting.

once you understand the concept of drift, all you gotta do is practice. quit making these threads please...you'll learn to drift after you put some effort into it instead of asking for help. go practice or use a different car.

as lanevo *HAD* in his sig slick tires are for people who need practice. once you can drift with those try sims.

SIMS IT'S THE WAY TO GO

lol sorry bustwave, i moved it to the "quote" in my profile. :D

SIMS IT'S THE WAY TO GO

Are Sims Really The way to go, if When gt4 comes out and there are drift competitions, Are you guys gonna require Us to have Sim tires? Or can i stay with my current tire configuration..Ssoft in the front and Medium in the back?

That depends on the physics engine, if they allow it and how many people are willing to participate in the drift competition.

You guys have to visit the Rumple Strip once in a while to stay updated about GTPlanet.net's news. Open your eyes :p

As Klos so tersely pointed out, that's not actually what was posted.

What was actually posted was that you should stop posting new threads about the technical problems that GTPlanet is currently encountering.

oops, my misunderstanding :p

Network problems are creeping into my social life lol
