Studio MX Instalation problem

When I try to install my copy of Studio MX I can't get past the serial number screen. The "next" button never activates. I know I am using the right number.

The first couple times it gave me a warning right when the installer started that said something about a dll file and being unable to complete instalation. I didn't write it down and it stopped doing that. It just won't go now. Anyone know why this might be? I've installed all my other software on this laptop with no problems. I've also installed this copy of MX on two other computers with no problems.

are you sure you typed in the serial correct? also is you serial a single user serial or 2+ users? if its a single user serial, keygen a new one, but if its multiuser, there shouldnt be any problems to why it isnt installing (from my knowlage (sp?))

Yeah. Some serials are only for a single user. So, if you wish to install it on multiple computers, it will only work on one of them.

Other than that, the only thing that I can think of might be that something is wrong with your Windows Installer.

If there was something wrong with the windows installer would it affect installation of other programs? I installed Photoshop and Premier with no problems.

How do you keygen and new one?

When I get home I'll have to check the installer. It's a new computer and I did remove a bunch of M$ junk right off. Maybe I screwed something up without knowing it.
