I agree with the idealogy about the Audi TT race, that when u win a car its an Audi TT, but then again they got some rare colours there 2, and yes the night lights do work

Trying to pass the 1st. test of the S-Lisence!!!!!!!!That freakin' Opel Slowster is driving through invisible molasses!!!!!(Anybody seen Fear & Loathing in Las Vegas.....?) I spent a good 30 mins. on it brfore I threw my TV out the window!
It's like Tai-Chi racing......Breathe, grasshopper......Feel the energy flow.......Next time I try, I'll drink some green tea & sit in the lotus position.

That might work if you were driving the Elise...

"1. Why have headlights for the night races when they don't bleeding work? "

actually they do work, i know this has been said before but what other say is that they dont light up the road ahead...i have to disagree....

since there are no races at night(in total darkness), only dusk or dawn...there is no need for the cars to drive with full beam so there wont be any great light being emitted from the headlamps...having said that, if you race the Dream car Championshp in Amateur mode and choose the last track, i think its Grand valley, anyway, this race is in the dusk and when your under the tunnels it gets fairly dark....stop inside the tunnels for a few moments, then watch the replay, you'll see that the headlights light up he road ahead...this is not just a relection, coz dry tarmac doesnt reflect a great deal of light, i drive 40 miles a day on tarmac, i know it doesnt reflect...this also works outside the tunnels to a certain extent...

this worked for the B787 and the Tickford Falcon....i never tried any other cars but i suspect it will work for most of them if not all...

TURBO SMOKE

what about SS 5 and SS 11 theyre night tracks

grand valley doesnt have any tunnels, or am i thinking of the wrong track?

i guess my post was misleading...when i said there were no night tracks, i meant that there were actually night tracks, i see how that could confuse people

what i ment was that there no tracks run in near darkness where you would have to use full beam headlamps....

also there are atleast two tunnels in grand valley...perhaps more, my memory is a bit shaky coz i am an old man...

bad luck, license tests should be entirely optional. i hate them too. goodluck with that rat!

I'd say that the third "tunnel" in Grand Valley is actually a pass, like the one at Deep Forest.

Then again, it does begin totally enclosed, before the right-hand side opens up...

Of course I SAY "right-hand" side... What I actually mean is left-hand side... I drive GV most often in reverse (I even held the world record lap in the P001 on GVR for a few minutes). But then it'd be the FIRST tunnel, and it would begin open then the right-hand side would close...

Where's my brain medication?

heh, i get that sometimes, when you drive a track around a great deal you tend to have it imprinted in ur mind. the left hand side of a curve is always the left hand side. when u talk about the reverse you still call them left and right even if its not anymore! :D

grand valley is a fantastic track, its a shame they removed the east section run though :irked:

Things i'd like to see:

1. hear the VTEC engagement on the honda cars
2. backfire+flame on cars with turbo+full race exhaust
3. improved engine sounds..some are nice, but most aren't
4. fix those headlights :irked:
5. louder blow off valves!
6. more tire smoke!
7. how bout a slolom and the skidpad to test a car out on?
8. damage
9. pit accidents! like let's say you spill some gas on the exhaust OHH NOO *FLAME*
10. more "famous" cars like the signal, endless,JUN, ligenfelter, hennessy etc etc tuning programs.
11. BETTER TUNING, yeah GT gets pretty well into it..but not enough. how bout a dyno? and a boost controller?
12. Engine swap option!! weee only on certain cars of course. (ie: CTR able to swap the B18C5 from the ITR.)
13. bring back the race modification:trouble:
14. how bout a little smoke at wide open throttle from the pipe?

spot on lanevo!!!!

2. backfire+flame on cars with turbo+full race exhaust
automodellista has that, DEFINITELY a good thing

3. improved engine sounds..some are nice, but most aren't
yeah, why does the cobra get quieter with higher revs????

5. louder blow off valves!
again, automodellista has that, most definitely a good addition and should be in GT

6. more tire smoke!
exactly, so that when you wheelsping smoke comes out of the wheelarches and covers your car and the specatators :D

9. pit accidents! like let's say you spill some gas on the exhaust OHH NOO *FLAME*

10. more "famous" cars like the signal, endless,JUN, ligenfelter, hennessy etc etc tuning programs.
forget famous tuning programs, how about more famous cars? bmw m3, m5, audi rs4, porsche gt3 etc

11. BETTER TUNING, yeah GT gets pretty well into it..but not enough. how bout a dyno? and a boost controller?
a dyno would RULE :P

12. Engine swap option!! weee only on certain cars of course. (ie: CTR able to swap the B18C5 from the ITR.)
yup, i'd love to put a 787b engine inside a vitz. though due to the lack of space you'd probably have to be sitting on the camshaft! :D

14. how bout a little smoke at wide open throttle from the pipe?
yes yes yes yes yes yes yes yes yes!!!!! (**droooooll**)

what i hate is if your off the gas and change gears the blow off valve still goes off

obviously there is no boost in the intake if off the gas, so why would the blow off valve go off:confused:

the 787B has a 26B quad rotor rotory which has NO camshaft

when i said swaps, i meant like common swaps...like an RB series into a silvia, or those ultra common honda swaps. how bout a mighty H22A4(lude engine) into a tiny del sol :trouble:
also..wasn't GT2 supposed to have drag racing? i mean..i know it's not as fun as the circuit stuff, but still..everyone gets bored  just modify the starting grid so that the 2 cars start directly next to eachother, dunno what they would do about the light tree though...might involve more coding. also, whats with the electronic differential modifier only going 10% front dist.?? you should be able to make a vehicle 100% RWD if you can in real life.(i know the R33 skylines and up can use this 100% rear distribution, only 90% on the R32 however due to preload on the front clutchpack :banghead: ) and a how about a TRACK MAKER?!@!!@?! you could make lemans, daytona, AKINA!!

You can already do that with a Sharkport & MC's car editor.

Mild Hybrids....

SHARKPORT ... It's not just for cheaters anymore

MG

That IS a valid point though.

In real life people are always pissing about with engine swaps (dunno why). They also find all sorts of ways to do crazy things - like the guy who strapped turbos to his NSX.

So it COULD be that in GT4 there is NO best car (at long bloody last).

is there a BEST car in gt3?

as for the rotary engine thing viper, i didnt know that thanks! :D but i was only speaking metaphorically, sitting on any kind of camshaft would be fairly uncomfortable esp since they rotate several thousand times a minute! :D

and yeah i know you can do it with a sharkport but it would be nice if it was all official and in the game and stuff. so you could eg put an M3 engine in your silvia and stick a motorsport badge on the back :D

speaking of bmw engine swaps, racing dynamics put a 5 litre V12 inside a 3 series compact. it looked the bomb. and probably drove like one too :D i wouldn't mind seeing a K55 in gt4... yeah thats a point why dont they have rare cars like that, specials and all. im sure everyone would want to see an F50 GT in there. or even an F50 :(

As for "best" cars you've got the F1s, Escudo for 4WD (if you can drive it, and some can), TS020 for MR, Xsara RC for FF, the two Supra JGTCs for FR and, errr, I forget the best RR. There's so many of them... :D

But if proper car mods were available, you could put in a JGTC engine to your 3000GT, strap on a few wings, slap a paintjob on it (mmmm, paint editor... My number 1 must for GT4) and go nuts. You could never say that THIS car is the best in THIS drivetrain - and let's face it, hybrids in GT3 have extended the life of the game for many people. Legit hybrids... That's the way to go.

Personally I'd kill for a REAL RS200 in there. A full, mental 600hp RS200 Evo road car, and 850hp rally car... Show that Escudo just who's boss... :D

auto modellista has a paint editor. every time you win a race you are given a multitude of stickers and things! :D
