So, I decided it was time I did the 80's Sports Car races. So, I went out and bought the R34 I needed. Spent a good 200k tuning it to the max, then saved, so I wouldn't have to go through the whole purchase process again.

All was fine until I tried to enter the race. Lo and behold! I bought the wrong car! R34 is not R32, despite a close similarity. So, I bought the R32, won the races, but still feel like a dork.

dont feel bad, happened to me too but i was lookin for MR and bought the wrong car, not even bothering to look at specs, saved it, spent it til i was broke, then find out thats not the car?? :mad: :mad: :mad: :mad:
 
well if the R34 is fully tuned, u can compete in the professional leagues without any problems
just go finish all the 4wd series and race of the red emblem series

I had something similar happen to me, I bought a R34 and an R32, (the R34 for PD cup and Trial Endurance and the R32 for the 80s sports) So then I riced my R34 and didnt the R32. God I felt dumb when I tried to start the Trial Endurance with a modded car. :banghead:

At least you've got a hardcore R34 now...
 
At least you'll have the R34 for safekeeping in the garage now...one day when you finish the game you'll take it out for a nice long spin. Or even before you finish the game. ;)
