Stupid newbie question

[darksepant]

I keep reading over and over about these chrome paint chips. How excactly are you guys getting them and what can you do with them? Can you just paint any car chrome that you want to? Thanks

You get either a random paint chip or a horn for every 30 cars in your garage. The paint chip is either matte or chrome. You can paint any premium car with it.

these are special paints, you'll get matte paints or chrome each time you rack up 30 cars in your garage.

and for what can you do with them, paint your car or rims, what else

you can apply it only to paintable cars, cars like LM, Race Cars, F1's, etc are not paintable ...

When you are rewarded the matte or chrome paint if it is not the colour you want then quit the game before selecting "OK" and reload the game until you get the paint colour / type you want.I just thought i would mention it to save you buying hundreds of no good cars just for paint chips. But once you have hit OK on the paint chip you can't reload to get another that is it until you acquire another 30 cars.
