Once i find the answer, this thread shall be closed...but...

I have a very nice video to show everyone here, but the filesize must be a desired amount and I need to find a way to lower the filesize

1st thought, lower the resolution from 640x480 to 320x240 (looking for a program/way to do this)

2nd thought, finding a right file conversation program that will do this for me (it's a .mov file)

any help would be appreciated! :)

The easiest route is if you have video capturing software. You can re-capture the video at lower resolution and a lesser video quality. If you have a DVD burner in your PC, you should have some sort of capture software.
Roxio Easy Media Creator 7 came with my Plextor 716A. It is a very user friendly program for capturing, editing, and creating videos.

How big is it now, and how big does it need to be.

Have you tried looking for somewhere else to host it?

I found this link in daan's signature. It has a program used to compress video. Click HERE
It can't edit/change mov files. I think you'd need quicktime for that.

thanks to daan for the link! (i have a program that can convert .mov files to .wmv files) you all will now be enjoying a nice video clip i have in the rumble strip :dopey:

i wont close this like i said i would because this thread has a lot of good links/information
