Stutter...?

Hasn't anyone noticed the stutter that seems to coincide mostly with going through splits? It's like the game stops for a split-second (or drops frames), and I find it very annoying as it happens multiple times per lap (obviously when you cross the section borders)

Seems strange something like that would be overlooked with the quality of the rest of the game.
