Why has the Subaru been so slow in this years WRC compared to the Ford and Citroen? Is it because of a poor update or because of the cars longer dimensions and wheelbase that it can't keep up? I miss seing Loeb and Solberg battling it out at the top back when they were new to the sport.

Also, is there any news on Mitsubishi - are they going to be returning with an EVO IX or X?

Why? Because it keeps on breaking.

yeah sub seems to have reliability issues for the past 3 years or so...

The Pirelli tires don't help either.

Yep, I'd say the tyres were the major reason for their lack of performance in the last 3 years.

yes thats been mentioned alot over the years :( its strange lol.

Ohhh another tire issue, just like all other motorsport :D

Solberg is still fast, if you look closly... He had some bad luck, the tires are a problem fromk time to time and mechanical problems doesn't really help either.
Add a driving CPU like Loeb and the season is gone... But there is always a up and down... just like Schumacher and Ferrari, Subaru and Petter will strike back, maybe next year...hopefully... And Mitsubishi... oh well... the comapny has financial troubles and motorsports is expensive. Managers don't pay for fun in the dirt, they want to gain profits. Dakar is Mistubishi territory, building up a winning WRCX team is not an easy target. So, if Mistu decides to really start attacking again, they will be back and fighting for wins. But I kind of doubt that they will....
