Subaru GTS livery.

So, I'm a grassroots racer as my real life hobby. I have a 2015 STi that is reasonably fast and has won a few National level races in the US.

I am atrocious at livery design (well any kind of design). One of my sponsors has a wrap printer and has offered to wrap the car. This would be on the car for 3 years.

I would need to upload my sponsors into this thread (you guys need to make the file the correct format, Im terrible with that).

Not only would the winner have their livery raced daily it would aslo be raced in SCCA solo, NASA time trials, and next season the Optima Search for the Ultimate Street car race series.

You would be able to put your tag on my car. The car gets a fair amount of attentikn as not only is it competitive, it is the only 2015+ Subaru that competes at the top of the SCCA solo and prosolo nationally at it's build level.

How many people would be down? If needed I would broadcast any and all GTSport races where the driver successfully competes in the Subaru. You would also get sponsor acknowledgement for real life interviews and video replays of real life competitions and GT sport replays posted tonsocial media.

I plan on racing 3 national events this year as well as racing in the national championships for the next 3 years.

Before starting, I would like to ask a few questions:
• Which main colors do you want? Please don’t say “It doesn’t matter.” That’s going to make things harder for all of us.
• Which sponsors are the top priority? Do your sponsors have any rules about placement or size?
• What modifications have you done to your car (if any), and which companies produced the parts? Are any of these companies sponsoring you?
• What is your typical racing number, or preferred number?
• Is there anything you object to (Specific colors, patterns, objects, etc)?

Hiya Dan,

• Main color will still be Subaru World Rally Blue (WRB)
• Top Priority Sponsors would be Badger Motorsports, Full Spectrum Performance, and Fleshlight. COBB, DankTunes, ComeAndDriveIt.com, SixPackAbs.com and BSG performance are all minor sponsors. The TireRack windshield banner would need to stay as that is the series sponsor for SCCA Solo and SCCA ProSolo. I would need to keep Hoosier tires on both front fenders and on the nose (I can post pics of the car with the placements).

1. Badger Motorsports has requested the placement where in my image is Emblemoverlays.com
   
2. Full Spectrum Performance wants either the front door or rear door
3. FleshLight is pretty open right now with placement but it needs some real estate

• Modifications or companies that do not need to be in the livery but would not be out of place (no particular order, just spitballing here):

3. Forced Performance Turbo
4. Company 23
5. WedsSport wheels
6. Winding Road Racing

Typical race number is 156 SM for me and 56 SM for my co-driver in autocross and time attack events. You can use 156 for the livery though as I will just strike the 1 with tape when my co-driver is driving

• Car numbers will be a minimum of eight inches high and a minimum of 1-1/4 inch stroke. Class letters must be between 25% and 50% of the number size, no smaller than 3 inches high, and located adjacent to the numbers. Car numbers should be on the body work and not on the windows as it makes it difficult to read at speed

objections:

1. Nothing political
2. No fender stripes
3. No JDM style images (beginner driver flag, old driver flag, rising sun, anime)
4. No Subaru images - everyone knows what it is and they are no longer paying contingency so screw 'em. I am not opposed to the STi Sakura colors being in the livery if possible.
5. I am a fan of checkered liveries
6. No purple

I am sure there will be more questions as we go and I am more than willing to answer anything or provide higher resolution images if needed.

Yes, that would be easy or you can create and post on GTSport if you want and use the tag as Slo_Wass or anything else to help find it in game. Just post how to find it in game.

The guy doing the actual vinyl and wrap is pretty good at being able to duplicate from images into real wraps.

My friend is one of the owners. He left SpaceX to get involved with them. They are super boned up about getting some hot motorsport action. And being as the main competition I run in is called Solo it was too juicy for them to pass on.

Quite an interesting proposition though. I'm wondering if you have any preference towards a secondary livery colour, which would be used on any shapes and designs. Obviously no purple but are there any ones you particularly want?

I do like lime green on the world rally blue. My intake manifold is powder coated lime green but it's not a priority as I am looking for something that can flow well with the primary sponsor colors.

There is no deadline at this point. FleshLight needs to make time to get me into their wrap shop (which we will do the work on). And.... one of the benefits of Subaru ownership is that I just popped the motor on the dyno (pulled 505 hp/ 522 tq) before the main bearing decided to eat itself. That's what I get for not pinning the bearings this last engine build. Oh well, off to order another EJ (this time with pinned main bearings) and get an Accusump (the car can hold 1.4 G lateral). Make it stronger. Make it better. Make my wallet cry a little more. Luckily my wife is a saint and totally supports this asinine hobby.
