Well Nobushige Kumakubo proves everyone wrong by bringing a FR converted Impreza(which made everyone surprised to those who don't know that he converted his Impreza to an FR car) to D1GP which led him to winning his first D1GP title in '06. By 2008, he surrendered his Impreza to Masao Suenaga's brother Naoto.

Such an interesting drift car. A must have in a future GT game. Never guessed that the drivetrain was converted to FR.

If PD doesn't implement drivetrain conversions, they should consider putting some converted cars like the Impreza.

Is that not what most of RWD drifting is? You're using power to break the rear end of the car loose in a drift. If that's not power sliding, then I don't know what is.

Actually, this thread is rigid because the other one is suggesting a fictional car.
In 2014, Nobushige Kumakubo used S15 Silvia with Laurel V8 engine and entered in D1GP. @MadFlavour made the mistake by using an Wikipedia article, which was not renewed since 2008, as a source.

EDIT: If he was going to suggest Subaru Impreza EDC Nobushige Kumakubo 2008, this is the one (the older Impreza).

Hmmm, the difference is only its paintjob, I think.

In this case, it's not a fictional car, just a wrong year, inst it? But MadFlavour won't correct it - he's banned.
