Subaru sti '05 wheel size

I was wondering if we can try to get on the next update if we can get a bigger wheel size for the '05 Subaru sti or we can choose your own wheels size. Like a 18x9.5 or 18x10

Precedent says no, unless it's a new DLC model, in which case I don't want another clone just with a different wheel size. It'd be like getting another Skyline.

thats never gonna happen, i think pretty much every1 is happy with the wheel sizing, and it would be, in my view of the game mechanics, tricky to get around.
this game aint need for speed pal and we cant all get what we want
i want them to make the supra premium (im sure thousands others do to)
all we can do is nudge pd very slightly in the right direction and they are co-operating well
remember they have a schedule for things that need to be done, they cant just do what they want

You guys do realize that bigger wheel size can also mean a wider wheel, right?

Not to mention the car's handling in Forza will change if you change the wheel width, etc. Not too sure about NFS. Oh, the ignorance.

For crying out loud, shut up with this crap. He asked a question. He made no comparisons to other games. He didn't say GT5 needed this option because other games had it. He didn't do anything that warranted the typical foolish "This is Gran Turismo, not Need for Speed or Forza" garbage.


What, exactly, does "go play game X that offers features GT5 should have but doesn't" do for this discussion after his question was already answered other than make you look ignorant?

If PD add a wheel size option I would hope they add a depth option before diameter. I still can't work out whether a small wheel with high profile tyre is better for track racing than a big wheel with low profile, I wouldn't be surprised if it was the latter (I'm sure lightweight rims are lighter than rubber, after all), but it would be nice to be able to fine-tune your grip with different width tyres. Then again it would also be nice to fine-tune your suspension with high/low profile tyres...
