Hey guys this is my first cry for help on these forums not to say that that's all I intend to use them for but hopefully I'll be able to post some base tunes and times in the near future but for now the reason why I'm appealing to the forums is becouse I've jest recently picked up the Subaru RA 05 and well to put it plainly it's like nothing I've ever tuned before and I would say I have fairly competitive times on about 50 or so cars of all different drivetrains, power to weight ratios and gearings but I jest can't seem to figure this car out and I am struggling to get below a 10.130ish time so if any of you would be kind enough to provide some advice or if your feeling generous even a base tune it would be greatly appreciated and will aid me in giving back to the community. Sorry for the long post.
 
Ah, the Spec C... How it used to boggle your mind.. Until a wise man came along and said " Young One, try a short flip with 5th and 6th gear stretched.. Make 6th around 70-80%.."

Try the wise man's advice and see the wonders..

Thanks im a big fan of both your guys work and I appreciate the the advise a lot. I'll be sure to test it out as asap!

Remember though if you go too short on the flip you'll need to stretch more and that could cause some gear/shift lag, need to find the sweet spot for each car.
 
Yea mine bogs jest a bit in second but if I play around with it hopefully it'll smooth out
 
Watch the revs on this car too.
Anything more than 7700rpm and you'll fall out of the cars power band.
 
Thanx man I knew it dropped off past 8000 but didnt know it was that soon. I appreciate the feed back
