I have found some interesting informations and data about Subaru Vivio RX-R that aren't present in the first post:

Wheelbase: 2310 mm
Ground Clearance: 150 mm
Tyres: 155/60 R 13 - 155/60 R 13
0-60 mph: 8.53 sec (check movie below Reference - it starts at 0'54 sec)

And here is the actual recording of the 1993 Safari Rally where Vivio RX-R (#8) is the main star, driven by Masashi Ashida. At 5'20 commentator starts speaking about specifications, confirming that it had 4WD system. Unfortunately, the car had to retire due to mechanical difficulties. :(

There is more. Check out this results from several rally events afterwards:

Rally Monte Carlo '99

Rally Hokkaido '13

Rally Japan '04

Mostly retirements and bottom places but one car did quite well on Monte Carlo '99.

Now Aero2000, decide which information you want to update. I would say - all of them. :)

This car deserves massive attention along with Alcyone SVX and Pleo RS. I don't understand why it is not in Gran Turismo anymore, since it is as iconic as Mira TR-XX and Alto Works. This is probably the first Kei car I would thrown in without hesitating. Of course, 4WD version if possible (750 kg). It is Subaru and was driven by Mr.Colin after all. ;)

Thanks for your vote, information and interesting film clips I have done a little update on the OP , but we don't know if the 0-100km/h is for a 2WD or 4WD car ...:)

Above the counter at 0'57 onwards, it says Vivio RX-R 2WD. :)

And I'm always glad to support gems like this one. 👍

88nm?? What a plucky little champ. Voted.
....Unusual to see a supercharged Kei car - I think it's only one I've ever heard of so far. Every other K-car has a turbo, methinks that's more efficient...

Yeah I remember that this was a pretty fast runner in the Kei-car-event in GT2 :D 88Nm is not much this days but it's a small car so it's good enough :D
