I know when you post a new thread it automatically says subscribe in your control panel. So how does it work when you subscribe to a forum? Also, is there a way to view different forums faster than just going to "gtp forums" and then going the forum that you want? I know there's that jump bar too but it's all the way at the bottom of the page. I just want to learn about how your forums work better that's all, not trying to be lazy. Thanks

Goto your options.

And press Un-Suscribe to threads you have posted it...

You will still get e-mailed whenever someone posts in a thread you posted in. Unless you manually un-suscribe from it.

I've memorized most of the forum numbers.

for instance:
h*tp://www.gtplanet.net/forum/f-10.html = GT3
h*tp://www.gtplanet.net/forum/f-91.html = Write-ups
h*tp://www.gtplanet.net/forum/f-4.html = Rumble Strip

Bill Gates did at least one thing right, in that I can type "gtplanet" in my address bar and it brings up the auto complete. I then scan through and click on the link to the appropriate a page.

Then again, I could probably just use the jump bar at the bottom of the page.

And you can get all the way to the bottom of the page just by hitting the "End" key on your keyboard.

I usually just stay in the "New Posts" section of this forum so that when someone posts something I know about it then and don't have to go looking into a particular thread 30 minutes later to see if someone posted something. Then it turns out that they didn't which can get annoying.

Thanks guys, I think I actually found the fastest way for me at least. I booked marked the "my gtplanet" section so everytime it will show the places that I posted and the places I most visit.

Another great way of quickly navigating from forum to forum is to make use of the "Links" toolbar in Internet Explorer. Just drag the URL of each forum into that toolbar, and then position it in your window so that you can get to all of the links with just one click. :)

lol, still not fast enough! Time is money! J/k no seriously... I find new things on and about this website everytime... I'm just glad I'm not as much a typical noobie to ask before looking around. I'm happy with the way I found and I'll be getting around this way from now on. Thanks for the help
