Substantial menu lag?

Ave had this before 2.03 but the menu lag is pretty bad (GT Life, GT Tv etc). What could cause this? Gameplay seems fine, just the all the other parts are really lagging.
Help?

Try disconnecting from PSN....sometimes, even prior to 2.03, I would get this issue and disconnecting helped. I did notice minor lag when I was on not too long ago as well. Might be because there are tons of people on right now due to the DLC.

just your connection going slow OP.
Only worry about it, if it does it for every day, for weeks on end.
Then its time to change your set up/ISP.

It has been like that for months probably. i think after Spec 2 came out. It was especially bad yesterday (before yesterday hadn't played for a few weeks). My connection should be pretty decent (speed wise anyway - 8-10 mb). Will try disconnecting from internet and see if it helps. Thanks for the suggestions!

Sorry should make it clearer Slow as in bad response time not in slow in download.
all the server hops to get to PD and back again.
