Suggestion, recommendation, whatever you call it it's still good

Well, Jon's Entertainment forums have a upload box under the express reply box. I would *love* to see this on GTP also, it would help a ton, for me atleast. no more having to have another page load to upload something.

Jordan, can you add this?

Add an upload box and it would take away the 'express' factor of the Express Reply. Express means short and quick - thus, messages you type in the Express Reply box should be short and quick. An image, document, zip, archive, etc would make the post well, not express.

I know that, it is just that space wanted to have a smilie box in the blank space to the right of the express reply box and jordan said it would take away the "express" factor. So, if we can't even have a smilie box there, I don't we'll be able to get an upload box there.

And yes it would help, but I don't really care as I prefer IMG tags.

Well, while you might prefere IMG tags, you can't compare an upload to an image already on the net. I upload a lot cause I don't have my own site(I don't have any site yet)and I can't use IMG tags on something that isn't on the net.

And it doesn't take away the express factor, it enhances it. I can see why Jordan wouldn't want the smilie box because it doesn't really help. But an upload box would help.

Sorry, but I feel it defeats the purpose of making an "Express Reply". If you have a lot of photos that you want to upload quickly and easily, just let me know and I'll set up an account for you in GTPlanet's photo gallery. Then uploading files en masse will be a breeze, and they will also be much more organized.
