Suggestion: small enhancement - big improvement

Suggestion: Default searches to "all words ANDed", like in most search engines.

If this feature already exists, or there is such a thing as an "advanced search" page, it needs to be made more obvious.

This enhancement would make users happier, and should make moderators life easier. When you get many pages of irrelevant results from a search (I got 2 pages for "advanced search" and not one thread on search-related topics), the natural tendency is to say "to heck with it" and post a new thread... not good. Many of us resist this tendency and still go through the whole list, but not everyone does.

I have bad memory, and I have been thinking about this one for a long time. If I already posted this idea, I apologize and please close/delete this thread.

Otherwise called quotation marks.

They're only quotation marks if you're quoting someone, IIRC. So, unless you're typing in the third person and quoting yourself then they're inverted commas

You are quoting someone. By putting the quotation marks you are looking for that exact sequence of words that someone has already posted.

Search terms are already connected with AND by default. You can also use OR and NOT statements to further modify your search. I'll see if I can make this more clear, and insert more search fields like Google's advanced search page. Thanks for the suggestion!
