Well im just wondering what you guys think of me?
In general, you know like a "you suck!" or "your username sucks" . Because recently ive been posting allot, infact im top on the monthly posters list. So I just want to ascertain what you think about the quality of my posts, are they a valid contribution to this forum, or a complete and utter load of gibberish.

Well?

Gibberish, the lot of them!

Just kidding!

All I will say is this: Can you please stop ending statement sentences with question marks?

I think you've been making very good posts lately, as far as I have seen. :)

Wow thanks, Jordan gave me his seal of approval. Sometimes im not sure if ive upset someone, or posted abseloute rubbish. So I was hoping that I would get some advice.

You were nominated to join the Pass & 'll foundation. That should speak for itself. :p

Keep it up. ;)

Also I now have approval from the "best member ever" ok and admittedly Pass and 'll is the cream of the crop. Well when groups are concerned.

I feel like a suckup now, for some odd reason.

I don't get it?

You get it just fine!

I (and this is a personal thing) hate it when people end a statement sentence with a question mark (or spoken, with a rising tone at the end).

What I mean is this:

"I went to the shops today?"

Why is there a question mark there? There's no need for one, it should just be:

"I went to the shops today"

Of course, if it is a question, it's exceptionally poor grammar, and should be:

"Did I go to the shops today?" or "Do you know if I went to the shops today".

As I say, it's a personal preference, but since Alex asked, I said...

I share this pet peeve Giles. When speakers elevate their tone at the end of their statements they end up sounding as though they are somehow pulling their punches, or denying their statement any relevance or weight until the listener approves. It shows a lack of confidence.

Not the grammar thread again. :nervous:

Yes? The grammar thread? ¿Porqué?

Well, all I can say is that you're becoming more Race Idiot than Y2Tuscan with every passing day. Which is a good thing.
