im pretty much stuck at the last race i can do for the class events....i completed all the beginner races and all of the professional ones except for the Supercar Festival and the last one, which i cannot complete without doing the supercar festival first, so before i go and drop a huge sack of money, what would you guys recommend for this event. The rules say production cars only, yet the computer used the Cadillac Cien and that ugly Audi. Anyway, i was thinking the Pagani Zonda C12 7.3, Aston Martin Vanquish/DB9 with some mods, M5 with mods, or i could try the MB SLR McLearen. if you have any suggestions/advice for this i would really appreciate it, thanks

Try the Mercedes AMG SL55 with some mods. You will regret spending your money on an Aston Martin if you're planning to do this tournament. I guess the Zonda would be a good idea as well.

actually i had bought a SL65 AMG for some reason....i think it was for this race...it ended up sucking because the oe tires BLOW CHUNKS.....and with mods forget it, its understeer/slide city.

I easily won this race with the SL55, I won it with slower cars as well. I think your driving skills suck if you can't win it, not the car.

Try it a couple of times over, don't dismiss the car right away. Try tuning it up a bit so it handles better.

While I love the Aston Marton DB9, I think you'll have a hell of a time winning the supercar festival in it. That's not to say it's impossible with some mods. Looking over my times compared to the times that I won the supercar festival with, it would be possible. Same goes for the M5. I've never driven the Zonda or the McLeran.

I used the TVR Speed Twelve for those races, but had to do it in B-Spec because I couldn't control the car.

Saleen S7 would work just fine, as with the Ford GT

try using the logitech driving force pro....its not as easy as the dual shock 2.....and no...the car does massivley understeer and have tire spin...but thats because it has well over 900 hp and 999 ft/lb or torque on ****ty sport tires.... :yuck:

Edit: it has to be the tires because i remember the SL65 handled beautifully yesterday on the Nurburgring with slicks

Yes, the only Aston that even has a chance is the V8 Vantage. Also, don't touch the McLaren. You'll thank me later for saving you the 700 grand it costs. You could try the Jag XJ220, but that costs just as much as the McLaren (it's way faster though). The cheapest way would probably be a modified TVR Cerbera Speed Six or a modified Lotus Esprit GT.

That's why you shouldn't tune it up to 900 hp. Any car with 900 hp with sports tires will suck and have massive wheelspin. Don't add any turbo and it's a good car.

900 is way too much tire spin for Sports tire. You should just try with no power upgrade (NOS yes), just upgrade your suspension and brakes). the car should be much stable come in and out turns.

Have you gotten to the endurances yet? If so, the Motegi 8hr endurance offers a wonderful car for this event: the Honda NSX-R LM Road Car.

The Viper SRT-10 will destroy this competition, and it's a lot cheaper than most other cars that can compete.

8 hrs montegi is the trick. The honda you get there smokes the competition
