This past Sunday, I was playing my favorite Action Horror game, Dead Space, and I quit, going to play Savage Moon. I switched because my friend wanted me to boot it up. I did, and it went to "Update 1.03". I clicked on it and went to the update process.

Then it happened...

I had my jaw on the floor. The PS3 beeped a couple of times, then turned itself off. I watched in horror, as my PS3 flashed red. I sat in my chair, dumb founded.

Thankfully, I did have an extra 2 year repair plan through Wal-Mart. So I will get a new PS3 at no cost. I haven't shipped it out yet to be repaired, but it should be back in time for 11/2/10, right?
 
First - Wrong Place, go to PS3 section...
Second - Just go to Wal-Mart with the recepit and say "MY PS3 IZ 🤬!!"
 
Whoops, sorry.

And I can't take it to Wal-Mart because they won't do anything after 90 days.
 
They better if you purchased the extended warranty. It extends the warranty with them, not with Sony, so if anything happens during that time you're able to bring it in to them and they have to replace it.
