I played this through the first time no problems, just the usual amount of glare and so on, but now when I try to play it again, the sunstrike is hugely exaggerated and the entire top of the screen goes blinding white, obscuring virtually the whole track down to the bonnet of the car. Then the view is perfect when the glare is over. Anyone else had this problem? (I've done a restart and all that)

Try your roof camera view & see if it's still the same?

pics?

Pause and adjust the exposure

I think it is very deliberate effect of direct high-sun. It is happening only on Toscana track and it is probably done ir order to showcase HDR efects and visualy simulate extreme glaring that also happens like that in real life.

Key is to learn those two spots and approach to them as blind turns.

Take those as other oposite of low visibilty - extreme visibility :)

Thanks for the thoughts on this... I've tried every view and different cars, I've played with the settings on my TV... It's still the same. So I went to different Toscana variants, and there's no problem, then I went to the track editor, made a random Toscana track, then adjusted the time and time progression settings and I can't re-create the glare. It's more than just extreme sun effects, it's almost a total white out. Oh well... I'll pretend I'm that blind dude who raced round the top gear test track years ago :)

Just tried taking a photo from the replay, and the glare complely vanishes when you take the shot, but not when you're setting the shot up, I'm going to have to take real photo of the screen ... when I find my camera....

I've tested this and it seems like when your exposure is set less then 0 it really starts the glare.

It sounds like the same effect as on High Speed Ring, when you come out of the tunnel. It's just blinding white into a right hander.... it's a leap of faith to put the right amount of wheel on and not slow down!!

Just checked this and .... yes... problem solved, somehow my exposure (quick options during race) was set to -1 , never touched this setting before so I blame the kids.

Thank you very much sir 👍
