Super-Close Transmission versus Close Transmission

When I started setting up my car for drifting, I went ahead and bought the closest transmission (super).
I never got the car to slide all the way thru a turn until i figuered out that there was way too much gear changing (kept in the power band though but the gear changes would give a slight break in RPM) so I switched to close transmission and damn what a difference that was.

Super close trans. is for like rally and etc
close is like drifting and grip racing(my opinion)

I don't use neither. I use Wide to extra wide so that I have more of a gap to modulate the throttle. More gap equals more sensivity meaning more control of the car's speed.

yes, i prefer to use just close transmission for drifting. super close would require you to downshift quite a bit more during the drift.
