super endurance

i'm not sure if this has been asked b4, as i have looked all over the site and car'nt find it so i thought i would ask. any way how some of you doing the complex string as an endurance race, do you do it on the run-settings option or is there an actual race on this track. :confused: it would appear to me that if it was done on the run and settings option that for over 6hrs of racing on yer own it would get xtremliy boring, can any1 answer this for me.:confused: :banghead: :odd:
 
I think what you are reffering to is Mustang_Man's 100 laps of Complex string. You'll find it in the OLR section. At last count, I think 3 people had completed it. At 8 hrs it's a long time to sit and race by yourself.

"OLR SECTION" eh? and yes it is an awful long time, but i am going to have a go at it i think.
 
OLR = On Line Racing. There's a forum for it here at GTPlanet. Good luck at the String.

Me, DtV, and MM have completed that particular challenge, as you can see in my sig. actual running time was less than 7 hours, but took closer to 10 hours to do

600HP road car (no race cars) any mods you like, TCS/ASM off, oh yeah dont forget to do the 100 laps (if youre game)

"Super Endurance Race" wonder where the idea came from for that thread?;)
 
whats the point in doing 100 laps at complex string?
 
well I've done searches but there seems to be a problem with the database. so if someone would be so kind as to pm me how to do these races I would love to give it a go. I cant figure out how to set it up on my ps2

It's just something to do for fun. I've never tried it and I don't think I ever will, though. I'd pass out doing a 100-lap run on Complex String!
 
RazorGTR - just go to Free Run (either in Arcade Mode or GT/Sim Mode, Home, Run & Settings) and drive.

If you have a Port and mk's you don't even need to continually pause and write down the laps - just save the file and mk's tells you the total time...
