All Super GT's are pretty much the same... so can anyone explain this?

Lexus:
Bandai Direzza 2006 - Level 18
Eneos 2008 - Level 18
Denso Dunlop Sard 2008 - Level 19
Petronas Toms - Level 19

Honda:
Epson NSX 08 - Level 19
All the others (from 2006) - Level 20

Nissan:
Motul Autech 2008 - Level 19
Woodone Advan Clarion 2008 - Level 19
Other GTR's (from 2008 and 2009) - Level 20
Xanavi Nismo Z - Level 21

Now why are the same cars with identical performance different Level? I can understand the Xanavi Nismo Z more because it is a different car (no other GTR's) - but why the case with the others?

Nobody really knows what PD is thinking. They have made many weird decisions in GT5.

Super GT rules change with time. Sometimes the rules are designed to handicap very competitive cars, such as the NSX (read the descriptions).

Your answear:
Your copy of GT5 is a unfinished product whichs developers lacked love for details.

It's because some of the cars performed better in the real life Super GT series because they were tuned by superior teams. I like that a lot because it means that getting in the Woodone GT-R should feel different than Xanavi, which is a much bigger team, and GT5 displays that.

super gt cars that win carry weight penaltys, the more you win the more weight you carry. the jgtc cars which have the best stats are the ones who never won and have no impressive history. I have a 2003 GT500 GTR skyline with 1080kg weight when the GT300 autobacs mr-s weights in at 1250kg cause it was dominate.

also power output is differnt, out of the 3 premium NSX the Raybrig has a max of 605hp where the Takata NSX hits 645hp, and the ARTA NSX hits 625hp. I have not tried the Epsilon NSX Who knows....

👍

The Xanavi Z has more torque than the other Super GTs in the Nissan section, which translates to more pp. 609pp to be exact. That is why it neesd lvl 21 to purchase.

Nissan GT-R 711hp kicked there buttocks any way as its has a 4.5L engine and only weighs 1100KG after market tuning.

The bigger question is why the hell can't I sell any of my Super GT cars.

The question is more like...why do you care about the level the cars have been given?

You can level up to 24 surely in 1 day with all the Seasonals, so then you never have to care ever again about it.

There's even the same car with a different number plate with a different level (The Oreca Viper). Most likely they did this, so only one of them would be in the level 21-ticket. Again, who cares?

I've watched multiple videos about GT500 cars, in real life their HP is limited but if they take off the limiter then the cars can produce upwards of 700hp. Why PD replicate this in the game, so instead of putting that we can only get them within the 600hp range???

Because as Kaz said he was building a Japan GT (or Super GT or one of 4 names it goes buy) race series mode for GT5, but ran out of time when Sony Said you are releasing the game now, he had to stop and stabilize to game for release.

Super GT( 500 and 300 classes ) and DTM and WTC would have had much bigger role.

Thats why there are So many DTM and WTC cars in the used car dealership.

They're not identical... they each run different tyre manufacturers :D
