Super GT: Endurance Championship: (4 Hours of Nurburgring)

There will be a practice session on April 10th at 6 p.m. EST if you would like to chill at practice.

Championship details:

This is a new championship, started by me and my friends. We're looking for good, knowledgeable racers to compete against. More details are posted below on the current race. As the championship goes, the championship will be contested between 7 racers in the GT500 class and 8 in the GT300 class. As this is a new series I urge people that want to compete to give us advice since we're new to this.​

Track

Nurburgring Type V - 28 laps.

Regulations

Course cutting- you will be warned ONCE.

Race clean- People that are caught ramming other people off the road on purpose will be excluded from the race.

Blue flags- If you're getting lapped, you must yield to the car that is lapping you.

Qualifying- Qualifying will be open two hours prior to the start of the race. You will be given a warm up lap and hot lap. Everyone will watch through spectator until it is their turn to put in a lap. You must start race on the tires that you qualified on.

Race- The race will start with a two by two rolling start at 60 mph (100 kmh). To avoid going around the whole track. We will turn around and go to the last turn that starts on the back straight. There will be caution periods that evolve huge car pile ups. All racers must stay behind the safety car at all times in a two by two formation; after the safety car pulls into the pits the lead car controls the field.

Assists- Everything except ABS will be off.

Track settings- Everything will be set to real, with exception of penalties and damage.

Points system- The points system will be based off the system they use in F1. Points will be added up after each race. The table is listed below:

1st - 25 points
2nd - 18 points
3rd - 15 points
4th - 12 points
5th - 10 points
6th - 8 points
7th - 7 points
8th - 5 points
9th - 3 points
10th - 1 point
11th/16th 0 points​

GT500 Technical Specifications​

Specifications- Must be FR cars, no engine, turbo upgrades allowed. Everything must be stock.

Horse power- Restricted to 502.

Weight- Ballasted to 1100 kg.

Tires- Unrestricted.

GT300 Technical Specifications

Specifications- No engine, turbo upgrades allowed. Everything must be stock.

Horse power- Restricted to 315.

Weight- Ballasted to 1100 kg.

Tires- Unrestricted.
