Championship Updates After Round 6

Thanks to his pole position and win, both boosted by the double points from Suzuka, CaptainFalcon89 has taken ROTY for GT500. LancerEv07 Managed to complete 50% race distance, sealing up the GT300 championship. As a result of these recent transpirings, the ROTY Points will no longer be scored in both classes for the rest of the season. GT300 will stopped being scored after Round 7. GT500 has yet to be determined.

Updates After Special Round 3

LancerEv07 has officially confirmed his entry in the Polka 1000 will be for GT300 using his GT300 Championship provisional. New participants for the 1000 include Ranhammer34, newcomer Hummelracing and RACECAR. If RACECAR manages to win the championship, then he'll have to decided between it, his round 2 promotion or his Special Round Race 3 win.​

Looks like few good points battles going on. I guess showing up to all the races pays of. I know that's the only reason I'm in 2nd. Of course, 2 3rd place finishes didn't hurt anything.

Going into Round 6, one title has been decided while another could be. The Boyce will clinch Rookie Of The Year thanks to a insurmountable points lead. Thanks to his 5-5 streak going into sunday's race, LancerEv07 only has to complete 50% Distance and he is the GT300 Champion and thats without even winning.
