Race 2. Circuit De La Sarthe 12 Laps:: 16/07/11
There was the same turnout of 5 people as last time. This time however 3 new people were present ZachAK47, omDidit and Lomski. The absentees were Taunto_SVT, Crowey08 and Rivendell88. This is the first race which enforced the pace lap rule unlike Race 1. in Suzuka. Everyone lined up in their respected positions behind the pole sitter ZachAK47 who set the time 3:49:350 6 tenths quicker than the 2nd place driver killa_kandy.
The Starting grid was as follows.

3. omDidit - Arta Nissan NSX '08

Pace Lap
killa_kandy somehow bumps into the barriers damaging his car for a while after taking in too much speed into the chicane.
Lap 1
Lap 1 is underway after the cars go in double filed into the last chicane.
killa_kandy passes ZachAK47 on the first straight as he follows his slipstream.
Zach regains position as he sticks one up the inside on the first chicane.
skynard also passes omDidit on the first chicane.
at this stage into the race Lomski was 5 seconds behind 4th place driver omDidit.
killa_kandy has the inside line and brakes late before the 2nd chicane to maintain position.
skynard also overtakes ZachAK47 as he runs wide on the chicane.
ZachAK47 fights back and goes on the outside of the 3rd straight.
ZachAK47 also regains 1st position after he falls into the slipstream of killa_kandy's car. He gets the overtake done before the the mulsanne and takes the outside line.
killa_kandy and ZachAK47 are neck and neck on the run in to Indianapolis. ZachAK47 has the outside line for the next corner and killa_kandy has the inside line.
killa_kandy takes 1st place before the porsche curveafter ZachAK47 bumps into killa_kandy and damages his and killa_kandy's car.
Lap 2
The top 4 drivers are now within 5 seconds of each other.
ZachAK47 gets a good slingshot on tetre rouge and passes killa_kandy.
killa_kandy passes ZachAK47 at the end of the1st straight andhe takes the inside line for the first chicane.
ZachAK47 brakes late and passes killa_kandy around the outside after parking his car on the apex restricting killa_kandy from overtaking.
omDidit passes skynard after drafting him on the 2nd straight.
killa_kandy passes ZachAK47 before the mulsanne after drafting ZachAK47.
skynard also regains 3rd position after he follows omDidits slipstream on the 3rd straight.
ZachAK47 overtakes killa_kandy on the exit of the mulsanne after he runs onto the edge of the gravel.
killa_kandy slams onto the wall on the arnage corner as he took in too much speed.
Lap 3
The Top 4 are now within 7 seconds of each other.
killa_kandy passes ZachAK47 on the first straight.
ZachAK47 regains first at the end of the first straight and brakes late after taking the inside line to maintain position.
omDidit passes skynard on the 2nd straight.
killa_kandy passes ZachAK47 on the 3rd straight after drafting him.
ZachAK47 passes killa_kandy on the mulsanne corner after taking the inside line forcing killa_kandy on the outside.
skynard passes omDidit on the run into Indianapolis.
skynard slams into the wall on the Arnage corner after losing control on the braking zone which releases omDidit into 3rd position.
Lap 4
ZachAK47 passes killa_kandy on the 1st straight.
killa_kandy passes ZachAK47 on the 2nd straight.
ZachAK47 regains position after he drafts and brakes late around the outside for the 2nd chicane.
Lomski leaves the race as he is almost a minute behind the race leaders.
killa_kandy passes ZachAK47 on the 3rd straight.
skynard passes ZachAK47 as he outbrakes himself on mulsanne corner and drives into the gravel.
omDidit takes the lead after killa_kandy slams into the wall on the Arnage corner. ZachAK47 takes advantage and overtakes killa_kandy.
killa_kandy soon overtakes ZachAK47 as he is side by side and is in omDidit's slipstream.
ZachAK47 overtakes killa_kandy before the Porsche Curve and soon overtakes omDidit after he runs wide on the Ford Chicane.
killa_kandy follows ZachAK47 and takes back 2nd place.
Lap 6
killa_kandy drives onto the gravel after taking in too much speed into Indianapolis and the gap between him and the lead stretches to 3 seconds.
ZachAK47 runs wide on the Porshe Curve and trades paint with the barrier which lets killa_kandy catch him up.
Lap 7
omDidit comes into the pits as his lap times are beginningto drop. His previous lap was 6 seconds slower than his personal best. He swaps a set of used tyres for a fresh set of Racing Softs. Theres no sign of the race leaders coming into the pits just yet.
ZachAK47 runs wide yet again on the Porsche Curve which increases killa_kandy's lead to 2 seconds.
Lap 8
killa_kandy - ZachAK47 +2.897
killa_kandy - skynard +13.151
killa_kandy - omDidit +45.543
ZachAK47 passes killa_kandy on the 2nd straight.
There is still no sign of the leaders coming into the pits.
Lap 9 - Lap 10
ZachAK47 and killa_kandy are continiously trading positions as they fall into each others slipstream.
At this stage killa_kandy and ZachAK47 have decided not to come into the pits as they both think they have enough to take the car to the finish line.
Lap 11
As we enter the closing stages of the race omDidit catches skynard before the Porsche Curve as his Racing Softs are 6 laps younger,
Zach Oversteers on the Ford Chicane as he has very minimal Rear Grip.
Lap 12
Zach is in the lead by 0.416 seconds as we enter the last lap.
skynard passes omDidit on the Ford Chicane and the cross the line 14 seconds behind the race leaders.
ZachAK47 tries to negotiate an unwanted oversteer following the dunlop Curve which results in killa_kandy taking the lead. On the first sector ZachAK47 is 4 seconds behind killa_kandy.
omDidit passes skynard on the first straight.
ZachAK47 has trouble slowing the car down and steering his car on the first chicane as his tyres have fallen off the cliff.
ZachAK47 has the same problem on the 2nd chicane which brings skynard and omDidit closer and closer.
killa_kandy meanwhile extends his lead to 9 seconds.
skynard is racing for his life and regains 3rd position on the 2nd chicane as he brakes late around the outside.
ZachAK47 has no rear grip left which inevitably leads to being passed by skynard and omDidit. It seems like his one stop strategy failed to work.
omDidit makes a swift move and passes skynard on the run in to Indianapolis. This move promotes him to 2nd position
.
ZachAK47 loses control on the corner before Indianapolis and points the car in the wrong direction.
meanwhile skynard runs onto the gravel after taking too much speed into the Porsche Curve.
killa_kandy takes the win without coming into the pits. This strategy was not the best decision he has made however it had worked as his closest competitior ZachAK47 also did not come into the pits.
omDidit finishes in 2nd as the only driver to come into the pits.
skynard finishes in 3rd and his strategy of a no-stopper didn't work out.
And in 4th position is ZachAK47 after taking pole position for this race. This is a race to forget as he was a winning contender for the race. His strategy of not coming into the pits failed to work out for him. He still has to wrestle with the car as he crosses the finish line.

Race 1. Suzuka 28 Laps:: 09/07/11
There was a mild turnout as others were unable to make the race. 5 Drivers from the UK, USA and Canada fought for the podium of the inaugural Super GT 2011. The starting grid was as follows. Everyone had 493 bhp and 1100kg of weight with Racing Softs.

4. Crowey08 - Xanavi Nismo Nissan GT-R '08
5. Rivendell88 - Raybrig Honda NSX '08
Pole Position went to killa_kandy as he posted the fastest time of 1:54:637. 2nd place driver Taunto_SVT posted a time almost 3 seconds slower.
Lap 1
Everyone lined up on the grid in their respected positions as they prepared for the red lights. Everyone gets a clean get away off the line and straight away killa_kandy goes to defend the inside line to maintain position in the first lap. Taunto_SVT snakes his car hesitantly as he is unsure whether to defend the outside or to take the fastest way around the first corners. Rivendell88 however gets off to a flying start making up two positions to gain 3rd from the back off the grid. skynard and Crowey08 yield to the flying NSX and follows the fastest route around the corner. Rivendell88's position is short lived as Crowey08 comes back at Rivendell88 before the first 'S corner. skynard soon follows suit as he passes Rivendell88 on the Gyaku Bank. Soon after Rivendell88 regains position as he passes skynard around the outside on the exit of turn 9 due to a poor execution of handling the corner from skynard. Taunto_SVT enjoys the slipstream courtesy of the big rear wing from killa_kandy's GT-R on the run in to the hairpin. This causes him to outbrake himself as he didnt anticipate the extra speed and run into the gravel trap. This miscalculation causes him to lose all positions and finds himself in the back of the pack. skynard shortly afterwards gains 2nd position after Rivendell88 and Crowey08 run wide on the double apex spoon curve. This was a result of taking too much speed into the second phase of the corner. Soon after Taunto_SVT follows suit and regains 3rd position. Rivendell88 recovers as fast as possible to regain control and reaches the tarmac to overtake Crowey08.
Lap 2
killa_kandy runs wide into the runoff area of turn one as he takes in too much speed. His lead of 8.9 seconds was bought down to just 2 seconds. Crowey08 regains position on Rivendell88 on the exit of the hairpin giving him 4th position. Taunto_SVT regains 2nd position on the crossover. Taunto_SVT came out on top in this high speed duel as he takes the inside line on the 130R and makes the move stick.
Lap 3
Rivendell88 overtakes Crowey08 on the entrance to the first corner after enjoying a luxury of a cool slipstream on the pit straight. Crowey08 takes the inside line and makes the move stick.
Lap 4
The lead the race leader has pulled out stretches to 11.119 seconds as killa_kandy consistently executes smooth lap times.
Lap 5
Crowey08 no longer takes part in the race. It might have been down to connection failure or leaving due to being more than a minute behind race leader.
Lap 7
THe end of lap 7 see's the first scheduled pit stop of the race from Rivendell88. The front tyres look to be in good condition however the rear tyres have been shredded as the car has been oversteering through the corners. Rivendell88 has managed 6 laps on the first stint and decides to trade in for a fresh set of Race Mediums. This may be a 4 stop strategy.
Lap 8
1st - 2nd +19.171 seconds
1st - 3rd +25.433 seconds
1st - 4th + 1 minute 7.095 seconds
Rivendell88 runs off track into the gravel trap on the Degner corner as he clips the grass on the left side of the track. This closes the grap between himself and killa_kandy. Inevitably killa_kandy laps Rivendell88 on the braking zone for last chicane.
Lap 9
The gap between skynard and Taunto_SVT reduces to 5 seconds as skynard is consistently delivering smooth laps.
Taunto_SVT laps Rivendell88 as he runs off track somehow on the run in to the spoon curve. skynard follows suit and laps Rivendell88 in the same place as Taunto_SVT.
Lap 10
The gap between Taunto_SVT and skynard has closed to 4 seconds.
Lap 11
skynard has closed the gap and is right on the tail of Taunto_SVT throughout the 'S corners as he starts to fall off the cliff in terms of grip for the tyres.
Lap 12
Taunto_SVT pits as the lack of grip in the tyres is causing him to lose a lot of time thus releasing skynard into 2nd position. He trades his old set for a new set of Race Softs. Taunto_SVT goes for a 2 stop strategy.
Lap 13
killa_kandy comes into the pits thus making his tyres last twice as much as Rivendell88's tyres. This looks to be a 2 stop strategy.
killa_kandy laps Rivendell88 for a second time as he again somehow runs off track on the 200R.
This lap saw the retirement of Rivendell88. Taunto_SVT also retired due to being disconnected from internet connection.
Lap 14
skynard stays out for another lap despite doing times over two minutes. At this stage skynard was 20.869 seconds behind race leader killa_kandy although he still had to pit.
Lap 15
skynard stays out yet again however despite delivering times over two minutes, his 14th lap was only 2 seconds slower than his personal best. Another lap went and the gap increased to 28.024 seconds.
Lap 17
skynard finally pits on the 17th lap as his tyres are completely worn out. He swap a set of worn tyres for a fresh set of Race Softs. His one stop strategy seems to be working.
Lap 19
skynard begins his 18th lap 1 minute 35 seconds behind killa_kandy whereas killa_kandy is on his 19th lap about 20 seconds behind lapping skynard.
Lap 20
skynard loses another 6 seconds
Lap 21
skynard gains some time as he sets a personal best.
Lap 23
The gap is now 1 minute 55 seconds as skynard does a few mistakes on the previous lap. killa_kandy was not 3 seconds behind.
Lap 24
skynard is now 1 minute 56 sconds behind despite doing another personal best. killa_kandy was not 2 seconds behind.
killa_kandy is right on sknard's rear wing as they approach the 120R. killa_kandy laps skynard on the Casio Triangle.
Lap 25
Having just lapped skynard killa_kandy decides its time for a fresh set of tyres.
Lap 27
killa_kandy begins to close the gap yet again as skynard's tyres is beggining to wear out. The gap is now 1 minute 40 seconds.
Lap 28
killa_kandy is not 1 minute 53 seconds in front of skynard. Inevitably skynard gets lapped as he loses control and collides head first into the barrier.
