Not sure how many of you are there yet, but I started doing the Super events in career mode and found some very interesting things. For those who have not started doing these yet, these events have tire wear and fuel consumption.
So here is the problem, I started with the first event, 8 laps around willow springs, 650pp or less on sport softs or less, normal car. This was my first event with tire wear and fuel consumption, although I didn't know it was on until I started driving. Anyway, I didn't think this was possible but the tire wear is even more comical than in previous versions of GT. In a stock ford GT, I wore through a set of sport softs in 4 laps, 4 LAPS? Fuel was even worse, emptied the tank before the end of lap 7. This race is only a distance of 20 miles. Hmm... So what happens if they do add longer races at some point
Thoughts?
I'm surprised there are not several threads complaining about this, seems a bit much.
On a side note, when a tires get to their very end of life, you don't just lose lots of grip like in GT5, the car becomes pretty much undriveable, even going half normal speed.
