It's not the smoothest lap, and it's not the best lap time one can achieve.. but after about 40 tries, I finally golded it.

My heart was pumping like mad in those last few corners.. I did not want to screw up, lol.

Now I only have "Autobarmy" left to achieve and I'll have this sucker Platinummed.

..yay me!

Controller: DS3
Driving Line: Off
Shift Indicator: Off
Active Steering: Off
Traction Control: 0
Active Stability Management (ASM): Off
ABS: 1
Skid Recovery Force: Off (unless it was locked on by default, didn't notice)
Controller Steering Sensitivity: 7

I think those are all the driving uptions available.

Thats pretty controlled driving considering youre using a controller ,wish you did it in mph tho

Nice lap....it looks just like my best lap on it, namely, a bit ragged at times with a fair amount of areas where time could be improved. I did mine with a DS3 on my 3rd full lap (after numerous issues on the first corner!) but had traction control at 3 or 5 (can't remember which). It is a fun event to drive and I may go back with TCS to improve my time (a 1:13.9). Incidentally, SRF is forced on with these events

1:13.9 needs improving! lol i think you mean 2:13.9 I did mine(2:06:863) on a wheel which really helped as a few corners you really need to throw it in with throttle control to hold the line before gunning it into the next corner but id say anything under 2:14 with a controller is really good driving

Nah, 1:13 was correct....I do a nice little side business in time machines:p. Not sure about it being good driving...certainly wasn't pretty but it got the job done. I can definitely see how having a wheel would help to manhandle the car round (would love to have a wheel but just not possible at present). I do wonder if I could get a faster time with less/no TCS or whether it would spin too much...will definitely be worth investigating as I can see at least a second, if not 2 left on the track...was just concentrating on getting gold rather than the time.

Honestly, it's hard to let this car "slip away" on you even with no TCS. At full throttle exiting some of those corners I broke her loose a bit, but I never felt like I was about lose it, just held the hammer down in most cases, the Front wheels handle the rest.

I have a wheel (DFGT), but have only been using it for less than 3 weeks. That's why I chose to do this test with the DS3 instead.

Thanks for the comments. :)

Thanks for commenting about the TCS...wasn't sure how it would affect it (I made the mistake of reading the notes for the event where it said "turn traction control up to handle it"! My own fault I guess. Am concentrating on getting Platinum at the moment (2 Super missions left and 5 "alleged endurance" races to go then I'll go back through and try this and others for a better time.

Yeah, I understand it can take a little while to get used to a wheel (that's what I've read on here...never owned one personally) so can understand using the DS3 but then, I have yet to find an event that is hugely difficult with a DS3 (Shifter at GTArena was a PITA but other than that)..even the Red Bull at Goodwood was okay..just required quick reflexes. Definitely feel I'm missing out not having a wheel and would love to get one but it's just not going to be possible for the foreseeable future :grumpy:

I am surprised how easy this license test was  ! I tried it a few times and was able to gold it (2:12,661 with DS3 !) whereas I needed several days or even weeks to gold other license tests or missions.

Now only the god d:censored: kart race remaining for me to gold :banghead: ...
