Examine the demonstration, and perhaps write down it's sector times. Try to keep up with those times. That, and of course, practice.

Wish I could give you a magic bullet for them, but the only thing is practice practice practice. I'm done about 5 of the 8.

Like JoniK said, keep looking at the demonstrations, from the driver's view. Under "Replay Options", turn on the instruments, as well as the steering/throttle/brake indicators. This will show little graphs of the control inputs the recorded driver is making so you can see the brake/gas points, turn in, etc.

Oh, yeah, skip S2 and do the rest. The GT40 in Seattle is tough. The only harder one is S8.

Good luck!

i did all of it in 24hrs :) hard but worth it cuzz of the f94/s red-white kinda reminds me of the ferrari f1, and dark blue and white (NICE COLORS)

well i've only heard this for the last one and i say you should have it in MT and dont go in a lower gear than 3rd if you do this it reduces tire spinning.

Hello...

In GT-3, You can to get the S licene much easier , than in GT-1
But You must drive on the right line !

If You drive to fast, You often to leave this ideal-line.
See the demo and optimize Your Drivingstyle.

I am have to accomplished the S-licene in two day's.
But I have nearly every Race, won by the third running .
There was only one test difficult to win for me.
The second Race , the Ford GT-40 on Seattle II

But now I'm love this test, and drive it often for Fun.
My best Labtime by the second S licene - Test is no 0,02 sec. from gold away ! ( But this 0,02 sec . I'll never make it. )

The Gold, in this test is out of reach for me :bawling:

So long
Werner

I got them all done, you just gotta stick at it and practice.

Also have a few practice runs to see exactly how fast the car will actually take the corners :curvyrd:, when you discover the limits and that fine line to spinning off stay behind it...

Do you use MT? If not I recommend you do.. :D

Here's what I did...
I raced the selected car on the track as long as possible before trying the license test. So if there was an endurance race, I raced it with the same car used on the test. Then I immediately went and did the test. That way I was still in my groove.
The S2, with the GT40 was a pain, but I raced the GT40 in one of the professional series races first. It was only 15 laps, but that was a good enough start that it only took me about a half an hour to pass the license test.

Good luck!!

if u want u can get urself a gameshark and turn on the low lisence time setting. after you do this all your lisence time will be around 3 seconds :) :)

S1 was cake. It took me a few days of sporadic playing to get S2 and S3. The rest were pretty easy except S8 (Toyota GT-1 with too much low end torque on Cote'd Azur) I spent about 1-2 hours on that one alone. I finally beat it in automatic by not letting the auto downshift to 1st gear.

I've found that the AI does not always take the best line.
Remember - this is only a programmer you're racing against.

An obsessive drive to complete it would probably be the biggest help. The sort that keeps you from doing things like eating until you shave another 0.050 off your best time is what I'm talking about. After a day or so of that, you should be well on your way through 'em. Throttle modulation is big too, don't just hammer the gas out of every corner. Good luck! :D

That's cheating...tut...tut...tut :shakehead

i think the best way to do it is to way until u need it cos the practice u gain from the pro series events is invaluable...i went and got em in less than an hour ... another tip for the s-8 - practice using your garage cars with zero asm tcs, then ull know how to control the revs for the gtone without spinning out...hope this helps, ben

I did the S License in a few hours. The tests that gave me most pain were the S2 and S8, not surprisingly. S2 took me about 2 tries, and S8 about 10 tries.
