Just a quick question about the Super Slick tyres... I put a set on my Raybrig Honda to run some of the higher end Ai races (S Licence is a ***** and I haven't passed a single one yet) but I found the car VERY hard to control... as if the thing was on ice... there was a B787 in the Race and it was about 2 laps ahead by the end at Laguna Seca, a track I love and am usually really good at.

Is the car meant to act like that on these tyres.... and is there any way I could combat this ? I'm only asking because in 15 lap races medium slicks just won't stay the distance.

Well the longer you run on them the better they grip, about lap 5 depending on how you drive the should grip great.

I think medium slicks do just fine for 15 lap races as long as you aren't to harsh on throtleing. But What i would do is just be as hard as you can on the super slicks for the first 2-3 laps and then take it down a level and you should have it made pretty easily. another thing is how hard your shocks are because it is mr it may need to have the shocks somewhere in the middle to keep the good traction

I think you mean Super Soft tires?

super slicks just take longer.
you'll get used to them.
if you want to get really good with them, go try and complete the Complex Circuit (if you haven't already) with them.
15 tries, you'll be murderous.

Though i would not use slick tyres on cars like the dodge viper or shelby cobra, the car will slide everywhere and screw up ya race.

untill they warm up!!

they will last a hell of a lot longer too, which equals less pitting :D

which has gotta be a good thing
