I wanted to let you know about the awesome super speedy support I got from Fanatec.
I received my whole setup (CSR Wheel, CSR Elite Pedals and shifter) on Friday March 30th and immediately set up the Wheel Stand Pro and attached the wheel, pedals and shifter to it. After everything was finally synced and calibrated I got down to driving. Boy was I disappointed when I started racing and could not get past 3rd gear, it felt to me that the engine wasn't getting enough gas and it kept on sputtering. I thought that it needed calibration, so I searched all the forums and found what appears to be a common problem. I hooked the pedals to my Mac and saw that the signal on the brake was pulsating even though no one was pushing on the gas.
I sent Fanatec support an email with all the questions answered as requested on the Fanatec Support page then sent it out Friday night with my invoice and video attached. I had heard so many bad things about the support that I really wasn't expecting to hear back from them anytime soon. Much to my surprise I received an answer to my email at 6:29am Monday morning thanking me for providing all the answers to their questions and yes indeed that I do have a problem and they will send out a new Pedal Set immediately. I filled out the RMA and today I got an email with UPS tracking number that my Pedals were sent out today and I should have them tomorrow. Luckily I only live 20 miles from where they ship these out.
So it took a total of 3 days for Fanatec to respond and get me a brand new set of Pedals. Oh yeah, I will have to send back the defective Pedals but they will reimburse me the shipping cost.
Thanks Fanatec for the amazing customer support, I'm impressed.
