Good luck to everyone!
Qualifying due Sunday the 24th, race due Tuesday the 26th.

Hey gents! I'm back! Hoorah! Well, now that that outburst of emossion is behind us, I think we can get down to business.

m.piedgros

Welcome back m.piedgros--but now everyone's get'n all emotional about the GT HD that's coming out and having to buys cars! And Tracks!

With round three underway and all, don't expect to see the changes announced untill round four. In fact, probably in the round four thread. However, expect to see, among other changes, a serious weight loss for ST5 (crash dieting... get it?! Haha! I need to get out more...)

m.piedgros

Ok time for a easy race:), because the last race I did was in the 2.3 championship
with my SL65 AMG with 932HP:scared:.

lol. Don't you drive a frontwheel drive car? FF seems a lot harder than a 932 horse Merc! lol.

m.piedgros

TECHNICAL CHANGE MUST BE IMPLEMENTED ROUND 3 AND ONWARDS

ST3: Clutch: Sports, Flywheel: Sports.

Not when your driving on Circuit de la Sarthe 2:scared:, almost ever time I
tried to brake the rear of the car wanted to pass the front because it weight
2200KG. Even when I had a wing on it, still it wanted to do that.
And the car was going almost 240+MPH too:scared:.

Haha. Sounds fun! Maybe I'm just crazy... ST3 drivers be sure to make the above changes to your cars!

m.piedgros

I'm sorry if this is a pain... but yes. All ST3 cars will have the above changes made to their cars BEFORE QUALIFYING for round three.

m.piedgros

Its time to qualify at midfield lol :) --- Randy

*sigh* soo much work is needed to be done......

ya know i always wanted to join the 2.3 car championship.....i have a car and everyhing but it seems that i need a team.....can i join ures angel creator? lol (i drive a BMW M3 CSL BTW)

anyway back tto the original topic.....when is the leader board gonna be updated?

I am back also. Needed a new computer, the company I ordered from does free shipping... downside, they'll get the computer to you at your leisure.

I did qualifing today, I think I can go a little faster but not much.
And this car is so much fun to drive:D.

Edit:@slikaznricer
Sorry but the 2.3 championship just finished:(.

I completed some practice laps in the 'Vette after dinner. The set-up is a mystery to me as of now, but I'm getting faster and faster each session. The little tweaks seem to be working more effectively than the big ones. My downforce is very, very close to where I need it and I'll get that cemented by Saturday afternoon when I plan on running quali for the 'Vette. This is the kind of track where I think the Subi could be quicker than the 'Vette. It has a pretty straight forward layout but there are some surprisingly tricky bits. As I recall from a run here in a Skyline, my 4wd line will be different than my FR line. Hopefully that won't affect me to much. For now I have to chill though. My mom is watching some random program on "my PS2" T.V. (It's really my parents T.V. ... and I guess their PS2 as well, but... you know.)

m.piedgros

Ok i'm done with the qualifier and I did the race today but I think I can go
a little faster so I will try again tomorrow and see what I get.

I'm starting to feel really confident about this round. The set-up is just about there. My most recent big change was tires, I started using a qualifying tire as opposed to the race tire and I took off about 2.5 - 3 seconds. On the flip side, I appear to have a problem of sorts with the tranny. The Lexus is a stock 6 speed with a medium - high gear ratio. As I approach turn one, I'd estimate 500m away, I hit 5th gear's rev limiter. I don't want to shift an extra two times a lap so I just let her flutter in the redline. I know I'm losing some time there but I guess it's a trade off. In the end though, that is the challenge of the series. Different tuning options and restrictions will help or hurt the best and worst drivers equally. Thanks GN+!

Ok I did the race again today and I got a better time so I will send it in.
I still may not be to fast as i'm still getting use to the DFP.

ok, raced today on Monday, just sent the results.. currently testing my secret car or cars for next years Season 9.... by the way anyone been on gamespot.com? Read about GTHD... especially the Classic version because that version is the one I'm probably going to get ;) But first I must buy a PS3 which won't be until sometime next year haha  ;) see ya guys --- Randy

I submitted my qualies just before the Champ Car race (thank God Katherine is okay.) I will probably be racing tommorow as I'm going out tonight.

m.piedgros

Hmm, not the best amount of times submitted, but I guess it's passable.

Pole in ST2 and eight and some odd off in ST1. Not a bad little quali effort! Good to hear from you again GN+. Before Round 4, I know it's a little while off yet, we must catch each other on MSN to get some rule changes down.
