Hey, I just got the superautobacs from the japan league in professional and it is absolute crap ! Its slow, and the oversteer is horrendous, its good handling stock, but its so slow.

You see, I had a plan, I couldn't beat the Avant Grant but I wanted the autobacs. So I was gonna get the autobacs and run the japan again in the autobacs to get the zonda race car to beat Italian avant. But now Im absolutely pissed because the autobacs is gonna make life hell in all Japan.

Any settings for autobacs to dial out oversteer ?

ps. I have already searched and found nothing.

I love the MR-S racer - it's one of my favorite cars. Unfortunately it's a GT300-class car, like the C-West Silvia racer is, which means it's often outgunned by the GT500-class cars, but if you drive it carefully, it will take the win.

The MR-S is a midengine car, which means you need to be careful on braking and lift throttle. It doesn't need any particular suspension adjustment. You need to adapt to it.

You don't need the Zonda racecar to win the Italian Avant Garde. You can do it in a semi-built C12S. I did it with a street car set up with the following:

Race suspension
Sport brakes/balancer
NA1 tuning (682hp)
balancing
chip
Race trans w/ full LSD
Triple clutch and race flywheel
Lightweight 1

I used T4 medium slicks and beat the racecars by 15 or 20 seconds on the race where they do pit, and by 3 to 8 seconds on the race where they don't pit.

I tried with the c12 but its amazingly hard, I have to run a perfect lap just to keep up, and every 2 or 3 laps I have a spinout due to the endless wheelspin at corners.

Any tips you can give ? I brake in straight lines and turn corners feathering the throttle, but still end up the wrong way round, and if I take the corner even slower, the AI will pull away immediatly.

This is the first race where I've seen the AI be really rough. In the first few laps they ram me everywhere, and this makes a spinout even more likely. :scared: I got so angry at one of them, I waited till he came around and pushed him into the pits. :dopey:

The Avant Garde is one of the toughest events in the game IMO. It took me more than a few tries to work out the handling and to run good clean laps. Gotta brake extra early on those long straights.

I think I have the Autobacs, but I don't recall ever trying it. First thing I do on every car when I try it now is shut off the driving aids. Otherwise I might forget later. I'll have to go try it soon.

I won the avant grade with a fully tuned C12S, but it took a couple of practice tries on my other memory card. I think the best way to counteract spin on the zonda is to use the other AI to help you, like using them as barriers. It works!

If you build the C12S the way I did, you can actually out-accelerate the racecars. Let me consult my notes for my suspension settings:

Drivetrain:
Build as described above, 682 hp
Transmission autoset: 33
FD: 3.636
LSD: 10/25/5
ASM: 0
TCS: 1

Suspension:
Build as described above
Springs: 13.8/11.8
Ride Ht: 54/54
Bound: 10/10
Rebound: 10/10
Swaybars: 4/4
DF: 0.29/0.55

Alignment:
Camber: -3.0/-1.0
Toe: -0.5/+1.0
Brake balance: 21/24

I don't know; I used the car described above to beat the racers by 3-7 seconds when they didn't pit, and 15-20 seconds when they did pit. I didn't pit either time. Practice, practice, practice.

I was using the dual analog sticks and a manual transmission, if that helps.

Try this thread for the Zonda race .

For the Autobacus , try the standard settings
Springs: 13.8/11.8
Ride Ht: 54/54
Bound: 7/7
Rebound: 7/7
Swaybars: 4/4
DF: both max

Alignment:
Camber: 2.0/1.0
Toe: -0.0/ 0/0
Brake balance: 21/24
Asm 0
Tcs 1
As with all my cars I try the std settings first & just lower the sup , adj brakes , d/force , & Aids to Asm 0 Tcs 1
Cheers Ozi
