Hey guys, I'm looking for the lowest PP tune that I can still pull off a win with on Daytona in the Classic Muscle Car Challenge (Seasonal). I'm a tuning newb, I'm doing a lot of reading on GTPlanet and learning what I can when I have time... I'm hoping to get a good money-maker tune put together so I can buy some of the more exotic / spendy cars.

Who's won this race at the lowest PP w/ a Superbird?

Share your tunes please!

Thanks guys!

Fear not, The Batman and Clueless Tunes are here to help!:D The tune can be found over at Clueless Tunes under the Plymouth Superbird '70 "Batmobile" https://www.gtplanet.net/forum/showthread.php?p=6474409#post6474409

The transmission has been adjusted for the higher speed of Daytona Superspeedway.

Transmission
select default
Final Gear: Stock
Top Speed: 112
1st: 3.102
2nd: 2.210
3rd: 1.725
4th: 1.406
5th: 1.159
Final Gear: 2.000
Top Speed will be:200mph

Here is the rough data from three attempts at winning the 500pp Muscle Car Daytona Seasonal.

Attempt 1: 425pp, 278hp @ 63.0% power level
The rabbit in this race was a speedy '63 C2 Corvette Coupe. I finished only 2.6 seconds behind the C2 Corvette hit traffic on the second half of lap five so it was about 13 seconds ahead

Attempt 2: 430pp, 288hp @ 65.4% power level
At 430pp the tune was achieving about a lap per minute at speeds around 144-151mph without a
draft. The Batmobile managed a win by 6.7 seconds thanks to a Challenger
R/T blocking the C2 Corvette on the final lap.

'63 C2 Corvette Lap Data
Lap1: 56.x
Lap2: 59.x
Lap3: 59.x
Lap4: 59.x
Lap5: 1:11.x may vary depending on if the C2 is held up by traffic
Total: 306 seconds Average: 61 seconds

Attempt 3: Different Lineup 430pp, 288hp @ 65.4% power level
I tested another lineup with a C3 Convertible starting in first and C2 starting in 3rd and lost by 1.4seconds:(... so the lineup can make this a tricky race.

'63 C2 Corvette Lap Data
Lap1: 54.x
Lap2: 59.x
Lap3: 59.x
Lap4: 59.x draft off a Camaro and Challenger at the end of the lap
Lap5: 1:10.x stuck behind a Cuda for most of the lap
Total: 305 seconds Average: 61 seconds

At 430pp if you average around 150mph without drafting (1 minute laps) you can catch the C2 corvette if they get held up by traffic. I had fun with this challenge and that second attempt added a bonus of nearly 500k credits with my 170% winning modifier. If you have any other tuning questions feel free to ask. I apologize for the large amount of text. Good driving and good luck to you!:dopey:👍

Wow! Thank you for the great response and tune! I will give this tune a try the moment I get home! Awesome!!!! Thank you!!!

No weight reduction but 52kg/+50 ballast. Stock engine with at least 200miles and no oil change or engine rebuild(I used a high mileage Superbird). The tune shown gives 499pp. For the lower performance point requirements at Daytona I removed all of the add-on engine parts and then limited the power. Hope this helps.👍

Works like a charm! Thanks again!
