I was wondering what is more important to some of you guys that might be right on the edge of making it to round 3 since the SuperBowl lands on the last day of round 2 for the Academy. Will you keep racing instead of watching the game or watch the game and hope you have enough time after to sneak in.

My steelers will win, I'm not worried :D
But by sunday I'll know if I have a chance or not so I'll probably watch the game first.

Well, if I make it through to the 3rd round, I've got a Triathlon to compete in on Sunday morning so I'm most likely going to come back from that, crash out for an awesome nap, then play and do my best to secure a top 8 spot if I'm not there already. Football is awesome if you're sitting around getting drunk with your friends but I've decided to quit drinking in order to focus my efforts on GT Academy in these coming weeks (a moderately big thing for a college student haha).

Not only do I have to deal with superbowl sunday, but I have an autocross then too!!!! DVR football, autocross all day, start grinding by 5:00pm for 4 hours until end of rd 2.

That sounds like the best day ever.

lol^
To clarify: If I'm in the top 50 there is no way I will be watching football because I will think I still have a chance.

<---------- I think you can see my vote. ;)

I have very little chance at the top 12, given the amount of time we have to run. If there are any new tracks, I really stand no chance at all. It takes me longer to learn all the the little tricks for the fast way around a new layout.

My best raking in round 1 was Tsukuba, and I only ran 2 sessions of about 30 minutes each. I spent considerably more time than that at Rome and Cape Ring.

Not sure if it makes a difference but the cutoff for the next round is 16th, not 12th

Yeah, not sure why I was thinking 12th.

Considering I was about 60th percentile in round 1, getting into the top 12.5% is highly unlikely.
