MR2 Supercharged...

That comes supercharged so therefore you cant upgrade to a better supercharger. I dont know why they did it like that. You have to NA tune any car that comes stock with a supercharger. Go figure....

Heyall, what cars in GT4 can have the option of upgrading to a supercharger?

In the North American version of the game the follwing can be supercharged:

AC Cobra, Alfa 156, Alfa 166, Buick Special, Cadillac Cien, Callaway C12, Caterham Seven, All of the Chevys (except Camaro LM, Corvette C5R, Corvette Z06 Race Car), Chrysler 300C, Citroen C3, Cizeta V16T, all of the Dodges (except SRT4, Viper Oreca), Mustang GT, Mustang SVT, FPV GT, Holden Commodore SS, Infiniti FX45, Jensen Interceptor, Lexus SC430, all of the Mazda Miatas, the three "normal" Mazda RX-8s, Mercury XR-7, 2006 Eclipse GT, Fairlady Z S-tune (Gran Turismo), 350Z, 350Z Gran Turismo 4 ltd ed, 350Z Roadster, both Nissan Cubes, Fairlady Z Version ST Option Wheel, Nissan March, Nissan Micra, Plymouth Cuda, Super Bird, Pontiac GTO, Pontiac Tempest GTO, Proto Motors Spirra, Saleen S7, Scion xA, xB, Shelby Cobra 427, Shelby Mustang GT 350R, Celica 2000GT-R (ST162), Celica GT-R (ST183, 4WS), Celica SS-II (ST202), Celica SS-II (ZZT231), Corolla Levin BZ-R, Corolla Levin 1600GT-Apex, Corolla RUNX Z Aerotourer, MR2 G-Limited, the two MR2 Spyders, Toyota RSC, Sprinter Trueno BZ-R, Sprinter Trueno GT-Apex, Tacoma X-Runner, Vitz F, Vitz RS 1.5, Vitz Euro Sport Ed, TVR Speed 12, VW New Beetle 2.0

I think this is all of them. I am finalizing a better list for this sort of thing to be posted in the near future. Oh, and be aware that cars that are already supercharged (like the 1986 Toyota MR2 1600 G-Limited Supercharger) cannot be further upgraded with additional supercharger tuning. Some of those can, however, be tuned with additional NA tuning.

What's so good about supercharging? I ran alot of the american cars with S/C and Stage 3 NA and noticed that 9/10 times the Stage3 flat out killed the S/C in both acceleration and top speed. Granted HP/dollar the S/C is far more economical but in overall performance, I would go stage 3.

I noticed that too you get more hp with NA tuned ups then the supercharger

Not always true. For example, the AC Cobra and Shelby Cobra, the Buick Special, Cizeta V16T, Dodge Charger Super Bee, Jensen Interceptor, the almighty Speed 12 and others all get their max power output after being supercharged. And it's a heck of a lot cheaper most of the time than doing a Turbo or NA tune of the same caliber.

The Buick Special runs a Turbo not a super charger

I disagree. I have been recording the details of all of the vehicles in the NA release of the game over the past few weeks. In addition to finding out that you don't want to race against it in Seattle, I found that the 1962 Buick Special is a 586hp Naturally Aspirated vehicle which can be upgraded with both NA tune (860hp max) and a Supercharger tune (874hp max).

The 1987 Buick GNX is a 280hp turbocharged vehicle that can only be tuned with an additional turbo tune (max 615hp). Perhaps that was what you were thinking about.
