Ive got the inspiration from looking at a bunch of great racing cockpits here on GT Planet and retail ones like playseats.

2 Ikea LACK tables - $7.99 each
optional carpeting- $14.99 for 4 piece set
bucket seat - $32 refurbished from junkyard

Used wood adhesive to bond and it's holding up nicely . simple to build even for people like me with no crafting skills

Low cost, seems functional, and not an eyesore, I like! 👍

Do you think you could avoid having to raise the LACK if the seat was lower to the ground? I attached my GT3 RS V2 to an unmodified LACK, and it almost worked, but I didn't have a dedicated seat, just a KLIPPAN loveseat, which was a little bit too high.

Hey MentholMoose
I found it almost necessary to raise the LACK table since it wasnt giving enough leg room. Repositioning the legs from the edge to a more inside position also gives more moving space.

iShift- I just cut off 4 angled pieces from the 2nd set of table (lengths measured so that it creates a 10 degree angle) and attached with glue

GTbyPlaystation- it's the G25 and from what i know, the two wheels are very similar (except for the buttons that you can't even program since gt5 doesnt support g27)
Feels realistic especially in rally and stronger force feedback compared to 5 Prologue.
