Hi all
I am part of a group that run SuperGT endurance races on Saturday nights.
Since the ability to restrict ABS, we have taken on the theory of Pro Sim racing, no aids, as real as you can make track settings including weather, time change etc. endurance racing originating from the V8Supercars days on PS2 where BFGracing started.
The series runs for 10weeks, with a 4week break in between. Regulations are tested to provide a range of cars that regardless of choice have as much of a chance of landing on the top step as any other car.
The races run for approx 1hour 30minutes from 10pm AEST (12am NZtime).
The regulations are for this season:
SuperGT '06-'08 Models only
615pp
Medium Tires or worse
No Aids (incl No ABS)
Other settings include:
Track Grip Real
Slipstream Weak
No Penalties (Replays are watched for any foul play)
Weather/Time Cycle on if the track allows.
It's just up to you when to pit, how much to fill your car and get to the end.
We are 3 races in on this season already, with Autumn Ring coming up this weekend. We allow players to jump in mid season, if you wanna race, you wanna race. Drop your worst round and compete for the championship!
I host a Practice night in the open lobby on Thursday nights, so if you would like to come have a few laps by all means.
You can sign up for races here if you would like, or add myself (PSN: Lion-Face) and join us for a race or just to spectate on any night we're on.
