Rules and Regulations

All rules, regulations, car specifications, and races are controlled by SuperGT sanctioning body, GTMSA. Any and all questions should be directed to GTMSA officials (namely me ICallShotgun) and officials will do their best to answer in a timely and accurate manor.

All drivers must run at the specified weights and horsepower settings provided by GTMSA for each round. Horsepower and/or weight settings are adjusted for competitive reasons each round based on finishing positions from previous rounds.

Standard Online Racing Rules Apply.
  • No Cheating, hybrids, etc. You must run the car specifications I give you
  • Try keeping at least 2 wheels on course. Long races = small mishaps, but absolutely NO shortcuts
  • No wall-riding as well. Combine with penalties, this will slow you down considerably, so don't do it.
  • All decisions by GTMSA officials are final

Race (43 Laps)
  • Arcade Mode>>>Single Race>>>World Circuits>>>Suzuka>>>Select Car
  • AI difficulty set to 10 for all classes
  • AI Tires must be RS.
  • Tires restricted to RH,RM,RS or any combination thereof.
  • Tire Wear set to STRONG
  • Penalty set to FORCED PIT ENTRY
  • TCS is allowed IF DESIRED, but NOT mandatory. ACS is PROHIBITED.
  • Gearing is free.

Shotgun, could you have a double-check of the track map you put up please? I see the track map of Laguna Seca posted when it actually should be Suzuka.

Sonovab...

Cut and paste isn't the best option with 10 hrs sleep in 3 days. Should be fixed.

Notice folks, that it is a 2-week event for y'all. I'm also hoping to get the WES involved here if Neil is around and free (read, if the lil one allows it).

Ran a 1st run in the Supra. Plan on about 90m for the GT500 crowd. Made a few mistakes, 2 spins, but no contact with stationary objects or Animated Idiots. 6 stops, with a REALLY bad last-lap b/c of the fronts being GONE, but maybe 20-30s left out on the track. I'm usually confident in 1-runs.

Hoping to get GT300 in this week, as we're putting a roof on my father's house, starting Thursday evening. good times.

One thing that can be said for this round given the distance it is scheduled for is that you can't go the whole race without stopping for fuel. Though that would be pushing in it the past rounds of the season in the GT500 class.

It'll be interesting to see not only how tire strategy is used, but when the refueling takes place as well.

definately not CAM. The fuel window allows for roughly 80L for every 125km. This is a 250km race. I think I used about 22L per stint and finished with about 3L left in the tank.

PS, using these metric measurements isn't easy for me. I'm from bloody near Chicago.

I'm still at the tyre testing stage :crazy: .. looks like a 5 stopper {im not running hards for the whole race}

Ive ran out of time to do this race and im still embarasingly slow so im going to withdraw:guilty: Good luck to the rest of you, see you in the GTPLMS (what a 1st track for me hey!:scared:)

Andy

Time submitted.

I only managed one run in spite of the extra week, due to RL circumstances. Not a terribly clean run, I reckon I left about 40 seconds out on track, including 1 penalty when I glanced at something on the HUD at the wrong moment in 200R and touched the inside grass, causing a rather impressive crash into the outside wall at about 200kph :irked: I hope I did enough to clinch to title :nervous:

A big thanks to Chris for running a great season 👍 Good luck everyone, and see you all on the podium ;)

thanks guys. I really liked this season...after a few SNAFU's, but I thank you ALL for sticking with it through the whole season. It's been a fun ride, and I've learned a lot of new stuff this season that I'll be putting into LMS Season3 (shameless plug) and also, if there's interest, SuperGT Season2 (JGTC 6?). We'll have to see.

I've got times for both classes myself, on top of running DTM and final prep for LMS and putting a roof on my dad's house and other RL issues (read: girlfriend takes up time!) and I know how it is for everyone to put in the time for a series like this. Thank you again for making it a fun season all.

***Times Submitted*** :D

Had a good season and looking forward to (hopefully) better things in SuperGT Season 6. ;)👍

Times sent. I swear all of the AI was hell bent on putting an end to my run. I had a close call with the fuel, but luckily I came to pit lane just as it happened.

Thank you for running this. Anytime you run a series, I can always expect great things. I've had fun in my first season of Super GT and look forward to competing in Season 6.

Congratulations to ZeratulSG and GTXDriver for winning the season points championships, as well as all winners and finishers in general. A close battle for 2nd through 5th in all divisions lended some real battles and relevance to the last rounds of the year. Thank you again one and all for your support and participation.

Thanks also to those who convinced me to compete again this season in spite of RL circumstances 👍 It was an honor to know that so many wanted the chance to kick my butt...unfortunately none of you managed it :trouble: :p ;) (although Fantomas came close until his PS2 died on him...)

Congrats also to GTXDriver for taking the title in GT300 👍

It was an awesome season, and hopefully I'll be able to compete again next time around (after a much-needed off-season though, I hope ;) )

Take care all 👍

Congratulations ZeratulSG and GTXDriver for the win 👍

Congratulations Shotgun for the series 👍

And thanks for letting Delfino race :)
