General Information and Regulations

All rules, regulations, car specifications, and races are controlled by the SuperGT sanctioning body, GTMSA. Any and all questions should be directed to GTMSA officials (namely me ABud) and officials will do their best to answer in a timely and accurate manner.

All drivers must run at the specified weights and horsepower settings provided by GTMSA for each round. Horsepower and/or weight settings are adjusted for competitive reasons each round based on finishing positions from previous rounds.

  • Standard Online Racing Rules Apply.
  • No Cheating, hybrids, etc. You must run the car specifications I give you
  • Try keeping at least 2 wheels on course. Long races = small mishaps, but absolutely NO shortcuts
  • No wall-riding as well. Combined with penalties, this will slow you down considerably, so don't do it.
  • All decisions by GTMSA officials are final

Just checking to see if ive got the right weight setting on my car. Shouldnt it be 1155 not 1166?

In anycase, the Mazda is feeling pretty racey around this track, even with all the weight and power penalties :)

Well spotted, sorry about that:ouch: Updated the entry.

Andy

ABud for the MR-S weight it should be 1158 not 1157 :)

Thanks

I just calculate the Kg and BHP mathematicaly rather than using the game so they may well be out by 1 or 2 each time.

Oh Ok! as long as we are clear when I submit my times and it says 1158 Kg :)
Thank you

Well got my first run in, basically the same line up as in Fuji. :indiff: I was hopping for a different line up.
I was able to better my first times (-8 seconds) once I noticed that I did not change the tire wear option :dopey:

the same with east my car feels quick in this track. Hopefully is enough to compete ;)

And before the deadline, I might add.;)

East, WOW, how did you go so fast? I know there's at least 2 places on the track that i'd like to make up time, but WOW!

Any advice on negotiating the carousel onto the drag strip, particularly the braking zone? Trade secrets? I'm learning to get through Turn 10, but it gives me problems at least 60% of the time.

Congratulations all, a close race in GT300.

Great times in the GT 300!!!

Good Pole there ICallShotgun 👍
I gave it my best but could not get my little piggy to get around the other cars in the first lap.
I think that's what slowed me down.

I knew i was gonna suck in the GT500, just could not get the car under control. Once again tho, im no where near East... awesome driving!

Wow, I got Pole Position? Awsome! :)

You mean Turn 6? Well, lets see. As far as brakeing goes, you should brake as late as you posibly can, and do your best to make sure the car doesnt slide while doing so. I also find the breaking zone much easier to deal with if I get there in 5th gear instead of 6th due to less downshifting.

As for turn 10, I think its a good idea to brake slightly early for it. I also think its a good idea to do the corner in 5th. You can do it in 6th, but if you dont get the corner quite right its easy to mess up and run wide, or just be plain slow.

Hope this helps, and good luck to everyone for the race.
