General Information and Regulations

All rules, regulations, car specifications, and races are controlled by SuperGT sanctioning body, GTMSA. Any and all questions should be directed to GTMSA officials (namely me ABud) and officials will do their best to answer in a timely and accurate manner.

All drivers must run at the specified weights and horsepower settings provided by GTMSA for each round. Horsepower and/or weight settings are adjusted for competitive reasons each round based on finishing positions from previous rounds.

• Standard Online Racing Rules Apply.
• No Cheating, hybrids, etc. You must run the car specifications I give you
• Try keeping at least 2 wheels on course. Long races = small mishaps, but absolutely NO shortcuts
• No wall-riding as well. Combine with penalties, this will slow you down considerably, so don't do it.
• All decisions by GTMSA officials are final

• Arcade Mode>>>Single Race>>>World Circuits>>>Laguna Seca
• 33 lap race
• Weight penalties in place
• Air restrictor (HP penalty) in place
• RS, RM, RH tires or any combination thereof
• Strong Tire Wear
• AI at +10
• Ai tires RS
• Forced Pit Entry penalty system
• ASM is prohibited TCS is optional
• Points for race: 15-12-10-7-5-3-2-1
• 2 points for finishing within 105% of race winning time
• 1 point for finishing outside 105% of race winning time

This will be my last GT500 race for this season as the GT500 championship is over. I'm gonna instead concentrate on GT300 championship, which I have a much better chance to win.

I pretty much gave up the GT500 ghost for this season as we did Qualifying for the round at Tokyo R246 as I didn't want to make the field too full of RX-7's. Sorry about that.

:idea:For the race st Suzuka, can we make it an enduro like the season finale from last season? Suzuka is the host for the Pokka 1000km race in the real-life SuperGT series and I think 43 or 44 laps of Suzuka will just about make one-quarter the race distance.

I think id rather stick to the 75 mile race distance for this series so as not to put people off from submitting times. Im starting to work on the next season of GTPLMS and there will be longer races in that competition, so i look forward to racing you there!!

You know...I actually don't like the RX-7 LM that much; Yeah, it's a fast car but you need to have sharp skills to really get the most out of it...It'll jump out and bite you if you let your guard down during a race, so you need to be giving at least 110% every time you drive one...That and horsepower cuts and weight penalties play absolute HAVOK with the way it feels from lap to lap.

Man...Really getting down to the end here, huh? Hey, i was wondering...If i have 91 pts with two races left to go...And there are 43 points left to score...Naw, nevermind; I don't want to jinx myself!

Well, that result ties up the GT300 championship for the year. Been a great battle all, see everyone in Suzuka for the big finale:tup:

Wow, I swept both classes. And just when I was thinking I pretty much can't race anymore in GT500, suddenly a win comes out of nowhere. Now I'm gonna have to rethink my decision
