Anyone picked up there new dvd? This dvd makes me wanna punch stuff cuz its so heavy, Phil is god all other musicians are weak and cant compose songs like these guys, in a way im glad dimebag is gone that way therell never be a reunion and SJR will live on to continue to be the Heaviest poser crushing texas old school metal band. Check out there dvd if your interested, for all those who have seen it post your comments in here

WTF dude.... couldn't you have posted this in the older SJR thread? And You should be ashamed for saying that Dimebag was dead. It may leave Phil to keep his focus on SJR, but remember, he was the reason pantera broke up. I havent seen the dvd, and have no plans to because face it, SJR is mediocre.

I haven't heard much SJR, but would they really be screamo? i thought Screamo was band like atreyu (and atreyu is better than SJR also, you need to listen to some atreyu Hatekore, you'd probably like it.).....

Screamo is generally bands where the focus of the music is on low, deep screaming. Like AFI or NOFX or wetf (I don't listen to much of either, so I dunno which), or SJR. The lyrics are usually angsty with no reason or not much of a cause, like SJR. The guitar is almost always powerstrings, some of it is complex, most of it is simple (like SJR's). Other than that, screamo is usually just pretty basic.
