Wow I just stumbled upon this recently, and this is truly sad news, he apparently died of a heart failure this is a sad day in hollywood. Clicky

Lets see, this year we already lost: Rodney Dangefield, Johnny Ramone, Indian Larry, Richard Sainct, Ray Charles, Ronald Raegan, Rick James, Marlon Brando who else?
 
f00k my sister's boyfriend's grandpa died today. This is sucks. 2004 is a phenomenon for alot of things.
 
Woah. I heard it on the news before and it came as a complete shock. He was one of my 'heros' and one guy who i would have liked to meet in real life.

I just don't know what to say (see avatar). A very sad day.

i hope a cure will come of his life, moreso than his death. does he have a foundation?
 
I loved the first two Superman movies as a kid...and so I always figured if anyone was powerful enough to get funding for a cure like paralysis, it might have been Christopher Reeve.

I believe he did have a foundation, but I can't recall a name right now. But if any positive thing can come from this tragedy, it will be that his cause will recieve more attention which could lead to a cure. And this could also help open the door to stem cell research, which could possibly cure many diseases.

RIP Christopher Reeve, you will be missed.
 
Man this is sad news :indiff: I grew up on Superman flicks and wanted to be Superman even :dopey:

I was shocked when he had the horse accident and now this is really sad :indiff: :indiff: the guy did put up a great fight 👍 Respect!

Never a big fan of Reeves. Always thought he was a bit of a douche.

I agree with Famine. Christopher Reeves led a good fight. He must have been in pain though. Must have. His death may resurge the fight for a cure.

While i don't completely trust his good-guy appearance, it's still horrible he died so young.

It's totaly sad. A man who deserved more. Well that's one of the first signs of getting older, when childhood heroes start to die.

Amen... A lump formed in my throat when I saw people taking down to Reeves in a thread about his death... C'mon guys use some common sense...


I just heard about this today... It is very sad indeed... RIP...

Yes I know, how you feel, I just don't get it when people post this kind of stuff in a thread where we pay our respects to people who lost their lives. See my Indian Larry thread, some one decided it was funny to make fun of him and put him and call him names. Whats with people these days? 👎
 
He almost had me thinking nothing could take him out. I expected him to start walking again before I had any thought of him dying.

Rest in Peace Superman, you will live forever through your timeless movies.
