has anyone heard who the new superman is going to be? i heard it was toby mcguire. then i heard the guy who plays clark on smallville. but when i look on the internet everything says it hasnt been cast yet. anyone?
I originally understood the next superman movie to be about George Reeves, the original TV superman that commited suicide, but I looked it up and apparently a $200M dollar version is also in the works with 6 actors screen testing this week. Keep in mind that part of the process is for agents to arrange a screen test for waning careers to get a jump start alongside big movie buzz. 1 2 3 4 5
and Max Brown a British Soap star.
Hayden Christiansen (Dork Vader Jr.) was planned but dropped out (thank god.)
And Jake Gyllenhaal is apparently still on the list as well.
If you ask me, they need an unknown actor as Christopher Reeve was and someone that will absolutely look the part if they plan to bet $200M.
