Does anyone surf around here? Or at least tried to?
I've been surfing for a couple of years now, learned when I went to uni at Melbourne, FL. (Fake Melbourne
) It wasn't a really good learning experience as the waves tend to break really far from shore. I honed my surfing skills surfing at Manly and Bondi whenever I come by here, great beginner waves!
As of right now, I have a 7'2 mini mal thats great for any size wave. A few months ago I started renting shortboards and fishes just to have a little more fun and I tell you it is HEAPS more fun! I'm picking up a nice 6'2 hybrid fish tomorrow as my second addition to the quiver.
So what about you guys? Tell me whats in your quiver or your surf stories.. or just anything surf related!
