Survivors newest twist - spliting up the contestants by race. There are four tribes competing for the same goal; the White, African, Asian, and Latin Americans.

If there was ever way to get the audience involved, CBS nailed it no matter how controversial it'll get.

Yeah, I think this is a lame stunt to attract ratings to a show most of America has lost interest in. Hopefully after this fails, they wont try another season.

If this gets Survivor pulled off the air, I will be very happy.
If I want to see someone roughing it in the wilderness away from civiliztion like that, I'll watch Survivorman (on Discovery), which, unlike Survivor, is actually an interesting show. And it's actually real.

Does it matter, it's not being racist or anything it's just a way to pull in viewers (or pull them away, depends on who you ask) and to make money. It's all about the Benjamin's these days.

That I'll agree with.

whatever will happen, everyone has to remember that the producers are doing this just for good "entertainment"

The show is going down hill. I know, I've watched it from the start. The past few seasons have been either mediocre or really bad. One season was so bad, I decided not to watch it after the guy I wanted to win was voted out (Hunter, the fighter pilot).

This year started off interesting, of course to get free publicity, and it's working. But, the show is not attracting the people it once did. In fact, long time supporter GM is no longer involved.

I'll still watch this season, but I wont if it starts to go bad. But, so far, the included people look pretty interesting.

...Meh, it is a stunt, and no less one that pulls on the "racism" stings in America that although my not be greatly apparent, they are still there.

Racism and polical correctness are two things that people have used to describe this show. I'd be willing to bet that even 20 years ago, the show probably would have passed with flying colors... But today? Nope...

I think part of the problem is that it isn't fair for white people to "pick on" people of other races, but it is okay for them to pick on white people, and for them to pick on eachother. Carlos Mencia points that out quite often, and I'd be very interested to hear how he feels about whats going on here.

I'm glad I get to vote Survivor off TV by not watching it.
