You don't like Skylines (mind, neither do I), you don't like Sushi, is there anything that you actually DO like? ;)

:D - first off before people start PMing me about skylines, Sandstorm refers to skylines in GT2, I have no problems with the real deal; I am impressed that you remembered tho

What do I like

GTP obviously 👍

Porsche conversions 👍

A good ol' greasy steak

Chairs 👍, definitely chairs.

EDIT: Quotes too ;)

Heh - I was lurking around that area about an hour ago, so it wasn't too hard to remember. :D

And I was in fact referring to the Skyline in GT2.

GTP, yes. Porsche conversions, yes. Just about any car conversion will do me, just so long as it doesn't make the car ugly. :yuck:

A good ol' greasy steak
Definitely a matter of opinion - not a big steak fan myself...

Chairs 👍, definitely chairs.
Why chairs, of all things? :odd:

Well as you may have read elsewhere in the Rumble Strip I went on a cultural tour earlier this week. We went to a mosque and a temple. Both required 45 min sits on the floor. My creaky bones didnt agree with that at all and my coxycs (?) hurts like heck.

A new found appreciation of chairs with soft cushions 👍

Sushi - there we fulfilled the requirements of not wafting from the topic :D

Ahhh, I see. Yes, I've always had an appreciation for chairs with nice, soft cushions - way better than those p0ofy leather things that make your clothes stick to your sweat. Nothing worse than a sweaty arse. :irked:

Sushi.

It's one of those things that I would like to try, but haven't yet. Something intangible is stopping me from going to the Yo Sushi bar that's round the corner from the office.

The smell of raw fish

I've tried it a couple times. Both times it was someone else's idea. I still probably won't ever seek it out on my own. Last month I had pan seared ahi tuna served with the usual sushi "condiments". Is that sushi? It was not totally raw, but the center was merely warm, not cooked. That was really good and I'd order it again. And even though Ellegance says they don't count, I eat supermarket california rolls often. In fact, I brought three for my lunch today. Yum.

Sushi has quickly become one of my favorites.

I go to Japan for a week every October (I leave next week) and have developed quite a taste for all types of sushi. I can't really get into the quail egg or salmon egg sushi though.

Last year I had Sashimi Beef (uncooked), it was outstanding! Not nearly as bad as it sounds.

Heh. Sushi is the first solid food I can recall eating. No joke. My parents ate that stuff all the time.

What can I say? I turned 30 a few weeks ago and when my wife asked me where I wanted to celebrate my big night, my first response was the local sushi place. I can't get enough of the stuff.

Its tasty, has almost no fat or other drawbacks, as long as your watch the mercury levels in which peices you have. That and coupled with the fact that its really tough for me to get a hangover from sake, its about the perfect food.

Mercury levels are highest in deep sea, large predetor fish. Tuna, sSea bass, grouper, swordfish and so on. The EPA recommends only a single serving per month for adults, as mercury levels on these fish is quite high. Its not a big deal so long as you don't have several servings a month.

i see...isn't there a possibility that it'll heavily affect some people with small frames like me? it doesn't affect me anyways since seafood in general makes me sick, but just curious since this is the first i've ever heard of it.

and don't some people eat a lot of tuna? sandwich form, salad, etc?

I love sushi. There's an all-you-can-eat chinese buffet at my local mall with big plates of it... I get my moneys worth.

I wish there was an all you can eat sushi buff around here, so I could taste many forms of ushi I havent been abel to.

My girl first turned me on the thing, nd now I like it very much, altough I havent eaten it a lot, and am missing a lot of flavors.

But normal buffet places; their sushi aren't the same as the ones you get at a japanese restaurant. The ones at the buffet are cheaper versions of the real thing. It's still good, but you should try finding an "all you can eat japanese restaurant" or just a normal japanese place; they taste better :D
There's a couple nearby, so i can eat it a lot :p

Wow! So many people like it! I didn't figure there'd be this many. 👍

I don't think you can call them "real" Sushi ;) but they're still pretty good for a light dinner or lunch. I eat them pretty often as well. :D
