Want a place to race those 20 Million credit door stops in your garage....well here it is.
The Historic Series was created as a result of an idea by @ZOPPO GT from Germany and was then helped along by @GTP_Nail and the guys from the The Tour ( linked below) and from Zoppo’s Thunderclub VLN Series.
This is a racing series for all class of drivers in Historic Racing Cars from the 1950-1973 Era.
We have picked all cars that actually raced in that Era and have assigned them and set BOPs.
Tyres and tuning are free. There will be good steady tunes made available for all cars for those who do not tune (like Me !)
There will be feature races from 90 min to 2.5 hours two Sundays a month at 1300 Central US time.
There will be mandatory 5 min pit stops in all races over 60 minutes.

Hallo Rennsportfreunde
Ihr wolltet immer schon mal eure teuren Oldtimer auf der Rennstrecke bewegen?
Wir bieten euch eine Gelegenheit genau das zu tun. THE TOUR wird zukünftig in
Kooperation mit dem THUNDERCLUB eine entsprechende Rennserie anbieten.
Willkommen sind alle Fahrer die sich fair und rücksichtsvoll verhalten und den
Regeln entsprechene Fahrzeuge der Baujahre 1960 bis 1973 in ihrer Garage stehen
haben. Die Fahrzeugauswahl beschränkt sich allerdings nur auf solche Autos, die in
dieser Ära auch tatsächlich für Rennen eingesetzt wurden.
Jedes Fahrzeug bekommt eine individuelle BOP Einstellung um die Chancengleichheit
untereinander zu gewährleisten. Es gibt 3 Fahrzeugklassen: Prototypen, Rennwagen
und Tourenwagen.
Reifen und Tuning sind in allen Klassen freigestellt bzw. erlaubt. Wir sind gerne behilflich
und teilen unsere Daten mit jedem Teilnehmer der ein gutes Setup für sein Fahrzeug
braucht.
Es werden Langstreckenrennen sein und die Renndauer wird zwischen 1,5 Stunden und
2,5 Stunden liegen. Bei jedem Rennen ist für jeden Fahrer ein 5 Minuten Boxenstopp
vorgeschrieben.
