Well, during the process of restoring my 1971 Datsun 240Z, I plan to upgrade the suspension. Here is my question:
Currently, I have a pair of vintage Koni front strut inserts. My original plan was to get a full set of Koni struts and possibly new Tokico springs. I like the Koni struts, because they are "period" items, and I'd like to maintain a period aftermarket feel to the car (I'm not going to put any horrid Ureflex bodykit on it, and I have purchased a set of American Racing Libra wheels like on BRE cars. I'm also planning to get an ANSA exhaust system). Now, I am wondering if it would make much difference handling-wise if I purchased a matched set of shocks and springs like this .
So, in a nutshell, I am wondering about the performance of:
Koni shocks w/ Tokico springs
vs.
Tokico Shocks and Springs (matched set)
